I've read 82 chapters but I'm done, the characters are charming and it has some compelling aspects but the knots of misunderstandings are annoying at this point and the main character's insistence that she's in the fairytale despite no evidence or reinforcement of such ideas outside of base level similarities is annoying, not to mention the characters aren't just dense they seem actively combative to the idea of romance but in a way that feels like an accident and it's so drawn out. Also despite 82 chapters I just don't understand why Ashley is even in this story she doesn't really do anything she sort of just there to be precocious and pathetic and make you feel bad.

My recommended reading order is to read the first three chapters or so and then just skip to chapter 217, there's so little progression and so little going on that you will be pretty much completely able to follow the story, and from there you get the full overdramatic experience that is this series and if you want to read the rest read up until around 230 and then go back to the early chapters and treat them as a flashback like the Star wars prequels

This may be a dog s*** romance but God damn it is one of the funniest experiences I've had in years reading this s*** and reading the comments. I get the same feeling reading this that I got the first time I watched The Room. If you want to read a good romance go read Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku or something. If you want to have a fun time with some melodramatic bullshit though read this and treat the comments as on screen commentary. 

My guy Ricky Shae is having a goddamn religious experience in the comments every chapter and I'm absolutely here for it
