referencing my reply to your earlier post. say in these categories they have values that are up to 8000 proportionally. and you still just have an Intelligence of around 2-300, that to me is a waste of the strength you have built up. From the way you view how he earned it and the way i think he did it. because both i think are the correct form of application. He should invest in intelligence because it helps with say a enlightened moment of his martial arts practice or during fighting. that is where im coming from.

(edit, i seen it further down) that picture didnt show up but i think i remember vaguely about his stats. this is just an example, if he has stats that range from over mid to high 1000s+ in most of the categories besides int, like our mc does. then to me and this just my opinion, he should invest in int to make it proportional. maybe like if his stats are
8000 in strength and close to the same for others, then i would hope for a MC to think maybe i could put stat points into int because they feel and know they are strong enough by that point that most people are not a threat to them. I say that knowing that the MC might think it is useless to do because of their given nature. and i totally missed you going in on someone else too! im glad our discourse was civil lmao.

just for some random drama, always saving a group of ignorant women. nothing against it but does it have to happen so much. he already warned them and they still didn't leave..

the way i view his training and application of stats is different from you and that is cool, i can take in your point of view, understand and at least agree with it because it is sensible. I just have a different way of looking at the totality of how he could be somewhat more efficient. but the author wrote him as a hot-head so i can express how wish his journey to where he is went.

i think we have a different recollection of events from what we read. although he did train to learn the techniques it was along the lines of do (ex: 10,000 of this or that to gain the skill). and the martial body is just because of the way the system works for the game world.
but you are right as well in your point of view and im glad to have push back and see different views. it nice to connect with others who enjoy the same things.

the gamer is different in power systems. he was given a power based on his given inclination of being meticulous and love of gaming. but it is a great example of maximizing strengths and supplementing what you lack through martial arts. the last i read it was around 500-600 chs.

nah i didn't miss your point, i got it and i understand where you coming from in the way you explained it. but from my point of view if you just master martial arts through doing stat increases to compensate for lack of actual training and to make it easier to ascend realms then you have not mastered them. which means in a deeper sense you don't actually understand the techniques you use, the increase of int stat which he just had to do lets me know that if he would have done so from the beginning he would understand how the technique works vs. just doing it by force of a system.

while i see where you are coming from, i have to disagree. even though he has mastered the martial arts he doesn't have enough understanding of the martial art to be able to write how it functions down, that in it self proves that intelligence or wisdom plays a major roll in making his use of said martials arts efficient and would then make him stronger.

very factual, men cant escape the romance of strength and the superhero complex. but we agree that it is must for efficiency.

It just drives me crazy, because they eventually come to point where they have to learn something and they have to rely on average or less than that understanding. the wisdom and intelligence stat are crucial even if you are already proficient in magic or use there of because of game settings. to me it replaces the learning and book reading most people would have to do for base understanding. and just being better at control would be a huge flex over those adversaries. And i dont think the writer has to make the character not stupid, but it would help to make them not a total blockhead.

i lose my shit every time these type of MCs in these settings dont place points in intelligence, i mean if you were an average person would you not want to just in case. just do it every chance you get. it helps with every aspect and function when it comes to understanding the use of your body and power.

his idol is not being revered at the convention so now he will buck against the current person who he does not with the same title. yeah its childish. and in true MC fashion he step up the game and change the game.
