Amazing how a fictional character has more depth to them then real humans that we live amongst.

This is why we needed a side story to help with the main story and bring the lore closer to a full story.

It is the common trope of multiple children through different women. Nox's mother was as usual a different type of relationship, not like the forced political ones that birth the other sons. And she died to demons so that by default makes it difficult topic for him to deal with.
Not to mention that Nox becoming the head of the family means that the father must be killed by Nox. His father also wants to see how this change is going to play out, but Nox being tied up in the political games of the Royal family is making the control everyone was exercising strained because there is not much communication with Nox.

I am not sure what yall think about this but it has way to many character crisis, I mean there are not that many side ones to begin with but that was at least 20 chapters dedicated to solving emotional setbacks. I know that development is needed in stories but not to this extent. You think the people born in this world would be numbed from dying in the dungeon but the MC is bringing out all the repressed feelings of everyone around him.
The constant feeling check in every chapter is just ughh bleh... I was hoping for more hardcore dungeon diving and moving through the outside world so the story builds better. The 'Gods Dungeon' has it place in order to nature but it is a hindrance to the worldbuilding.

It is good. The story just needs more clarification. The tower has yet to be explained in the main story(in Urek they do some explanation). And I think that is all that is needed, maybe that is what the current side will explain before becoming a another tower chase story any more than it has.

It is still hard to find balance between adaptation of a light novel to graphic comic. How much dialog, action, time frames, and so on into a work. I do like reading wordier works but I dislike the stagnant flow when nuance feelings are over explained. Sometimes it has to vague for a better dramatic effect of who the is or what they stand for.

The longest time I have invested in one is for Tower of God(I never thought I could hate a character so much before just from reading, hahaha I was wrong. IYKYK). I Started when it first came to Webtoon.

I believe it is because he also learned that holding the power of a sword is not just for the fantasy of martial arts which was his previous view point, to knowing that because he has strength people will seek to challenge him just because the want of proving themselves against a greater power is the way. With the death of his friend he came to know that his strength has to be exercised even if it is only to deter fools from trying to scheme.

We also have to remember that he is wholly responsible for the uprising in the martial world too. He sent those letters from when he was in the palace that cause the power shift and completion of various clans and vagrants martial arts. So he bared the weight of trying to experience what he influenced under the naivety of a scholar that was just doing research. All the while not understanding his vast knowledge and his building of personal strength would make him a target along his journey.

Now we just have to have a maturity in his knowledge of women and what issues they cause, since it seems that is the direction this is headed for now. Knowing that they are having their own fantasies about how and what he views them as will help him sooner than later. The woman with him should explain it as well instead doing the same as the other women but, she is a woman so...she is just going to let the misunderstanding continue without addressing it.
