First I'll breakdown what I think are the components of success:
- Time Resource
- Physical Resources / Money
- Talent
- Hardwork
- Perserverance
I'm going to use the term product for services as well since it's hard to define something that's purely a service or a product and one can consider that the service is produced by the servicer.
Time is important because without enough of it, you'll be moving at a snails pace and constantly breaking your momentum.
Money is needed to acquire physical resources and the tools needed to convert them into a product or service that can bring you success.
Both of the above require someone with the talent to utilize them properly.
Talent is important because it allows a person to overcome difficulties and raises quality more easily than just hardwork a higher quality product is more likely to bring success and a talented person will have to perservere with an idea less than a hardworking person.
A hardworking person can potentially also overcome difficulties if they can perservere for long enough. In the case that a talented person is producing a similar quality product as a hardworking person, the hardworking person can produce more of it and capitalize on the market.
I'm distinguishing hard work from perseverance because a person can always be working to achieve success but may end up moving from one idea to another when facing difficulties and doubts.
In both of the above cases, given any amount of time in a day and/ or physical resources, a person who can perservere with something is someone who I think is most likely to find success.
Let me know what you think about the above if possible, especially if you think its appropriate to distinguish between hardwork and perserverance or if it just feels like semantics.
This turned out longer than I planned >.>
