I feel i need to say this, Do not, I repeat DO NOT casually buy a friend Jewelry(especially rings). Jewelry (to clarify; accessories specifically containing jewels)should be saved for Significant Others and Parents. Maybe getting your bestie their birthstone for their birthday gets a pass but only barely and very conditionally.
Accessories (necklaces, bracelets, etc (again No Rings))are a bit risky but fine, but the difference in significance between an Accessory and Jewelry is heaven and earth. If you don’t want an ocean of misunderstandings and headaches, save yourself the trouble and just get clothes or makeup.

honestly I think its the layering. most mage robes are just one straight layer of cloth with a hood. while the layers of color and cloth here give it a depth that makes it feel more refined. like the military uniform its supposed to be. the lighting and El's expression also play a role, but the robe itself does have cool vibes.
