use the reason of being exhausted to stop healing from the church, and now that the populace is almost solely dependent on said healing they'll start complaining and causing problems. plant a few people here and there to make people think the cause of all the problems is the recent change in the system and start a good olé coup de ta. overthrow the current "head saint" as well as the queen and overtly passive king and have lector and anise take over. with the bond between the new head saint and king reestablish equality between the monarchy and the church and let the system go back to normal without the idiots who were once leading it.

its skewed and warped logic going off of preconceived notions that don't actually work if you took a minute to think about it.

however
wife dumb = no baby = no moving forward in marriage
therefore
give wife own smarts = make wife smart = can have baby = move forward in marriage = love wife more

if you think about any of this for more than half a second you see that it actually makes no sense.

Even after reading the explanation page there had to have been a better way of wording that. Light/Dark, Hallowed/Shadow, Blessed/Cursed, take your pick, But just White/Black has so many racial connotations. It's a very poor choice of words.

hell just inverse the words, the people of white and the people of black sounds so much better than just white people and black people.
