Imagine spending countless hours mastering a craft, putting your heart and soul into your efforts, working tirelessly, through blood sweat and tears, to hone your skill to the point of near perfection. Then suddenly and without warning its all taken away and can never be used again. All the time spent mastering it amounting to nothing. All of the effort and emotion poured into it completely disregarded and demolished. And with all that someone else who put no time or effort into it, using your skill. Using it just as well as you did after honing it for ages, effortlessly.

If you can have something like that happen to you and still be the same person immediately afterwards, then I'd be extremely impressed.

if she had half enough brains to think of that we wouldn't have the plot of this story to begin with.

Fair. But if you add it now you’ll bury the cereal already in there and it’ll get soggy before you get to it again. Finish the cereal in the bowl first, then add more to the excess milk.

unrelated fun fact: apparently this site has blocked words. it wouldn't let me post the acronym of the US Presidents cult as one of the examples for Calamitys viewpoint.

so, if I'm interpreting this correctly...

Deus believes that "clothes"/Desires should be used as a shield to protect your individuality from outside influence. Essentially having everyone solidify their own individuality to become distinctly themselves. (sorta like cultivation from Murim stories) (this is honestly the one I comprehend the least)

Calamity believes "clothes"/Desires should be used to influence others and make them agree with your own "superior" "clothes"/Desires. In essence becoming a cult in which everyone else is worthless and Calamity is the only thing that matters. (standard religious belief's with "gods" being greater than us mere mortals(most Mythologies, Judaism, Christianity, etc. for example)

And Gestalt believes that "clothes"/Desires are unnecessary and should just be cast away. Basically saying that nothing really matters at the end of the day and its pointless to worry about it (like some sorta Buddhism/Atheism mix)

Nothing here to say any of these beliefs are right or wrong, merely different.

my only question here is why is she reaching for more cereal when she still has cereal in the bowl.

Pervert uncle probably just wants her body. And in a world with magic(necromancy) dead or alive is irrelevant.

He didn't know they were there.

I do admit he should’ve said he ran into an old friend and helped them out. Then go into more detail if pressed about it. But leave the accidental boob grab for absolute last. who would actually talk about something like that when both involved parties already made a silent agreement to pretend it never happened.

if I'm understanding correctly in a past life MC was a demon lord who was really close with the princess and the warrior(hero). she took care of and trained them, but always kept them at arms length due to the many tragedies of her past lives. Then, for one reason or another(likely political) the warrior and princess were ordered/forced to slay the demon lord(her) despite wanting to be with her.

Now, in the current life all three are reincarnated, but the warrior and princess have essentially no memories of the past life, only the lingering desires/regrets of their souls(for these two, it was that they never got to be truly close with the demon lord). MCs mission in this life is to find all the people like this from her many past lives and resolve those regrets. so by getting close with them unlike what she did when she was the demon lord, she can complete said mission and all three can move forward towards a happier ending in this life.

as for the kid in the white cloak at the end, they seem to be some sort of outside observer/external influence on MCs reincarnation cycle. As to weather they're an ally, an enemy, or something else entirely, that has yet to be shown, though they claim to be an ally.

Fair, honestly. Sacrificing anatomical accuracy for ease of reading comprehension is a valid trade.

Honestly, same. Grew up in a family of alcoholics and just hate the smell of smoking(cigarettes e-cigs you name it. Smells awful), just left me with reading as an escape, and here I am.

MC also outranks him in the military by a fair margin.

Iirc spirits are born from negative human emotions. So it makes sense that the strongest among them are bound to the harshest negativity.
