Depends on the size of the change and the importance of the relationship.
If someone i don’t really care about dislikes me for a reason that i find to be an important part of myself then why would i change that for them?
On the other hand, if someone i know id prefer to get along with just dislikes my tone of voice or my use of grammar, then i would try to change that or just not speak around that person as much.
You never need to change for someone. It’s all about finding compromises or being confident in yourself.
