I fully agree, but imagine for a moment you are good friends with someone who is talented for a moment, and they visit the country at the same time as a leendary god is visiting. I would think your more likley to make a joke saying your friend is the god then actually beliving it

it seems likley that he was experiencing severe backlash, but his altrustic nature pushed him to keep helping regardless of his own pain, He also probably wont be able to use any martial arts for a week.
