Just manga/manhwa logic.
I think, it is the right choice for the author to work more on the LN side instead.
I read the WN due to my impatience.
It's disappointing.
Phyrne is a girl too... What's with the discrimination
Should be luck+1 by having more ally.
Compared to the WN, she have more info on Akira, and as we can see here, is now dead resolved not to be on the opposing side of Akira.
In the WN, She lacks information, and assists (although unwillingly) Katsu in attacking Akira.
The price of the release is surprisingly cheap.

Still I have to point out, you read far too many cheap things, that it became your current standard and expectations.
Go read some novels with good writing and plot, I can bet you'll probably fall asleep and end up discontinuing reading it, the reason being "unable to appreciate" & "Unable to follow the development"
Also MC, is never an asshole nor wishy washy, he is constant throughout the story (Ch52) so far, and he never declares that he was the righteous-friendship guy either. He's the RATIONAL badass type throughout the story.
Either you are drunk, coming from a different manga, and posted the comment here, or you haven't actually read this series.
Some villain-slapping moments.
Not without flaws, but got me to read 43 chapters in a day.
His trump card is Lucas Fate, not his father.
If his father truly provided him with goodwill, he lost nothing.
If his father betray him, he have Lucas fate as his trumph card.
It's a perfectly managed risk.
Just keep upping his vitality and regen,
he will be a living nightmare with lots of HP and regen and reflect damage.
Remember, as long as his heart is ok, pretty much he will not die.
Probably just get something that toughens his skin.
He can't equip armor anyway when he want to use Gigantification (As seen within few chapters back).
He can drink potions mid-battle.
Not to mention innate barbarian physical strength, which means most of the time, he won't need to up his physical atk, unlike other races.
And as reminder, each of his Essence, also boosts his physicals on top of their OP abilities.
Which means the only way is to temper oneself with dangers.
If it were me, I choose "NO" for the chance to become that 7* and breakthrough the lvl81 and so on progress.
As said, Niflheimr can only survive for ten years.
Which mean, if no progress were made, Niflheimr will be gone, and that pretty much screw up a lots of things the Master could do.
In chapter 1, we were shown lvl80 battle scene.
You know where I'm going with this. Niflheimer while had cleared 80, does not have a guarantee to progress much farther.
A 7* and potential strong coop (TOWNIA) would perhaps be the way.
Do not forget that Niflheimer characters were already at the bottleneck of Lvl99.
