Well...

I live for character interactions, and the circumstances for girl on girl relationships simply make for cuter interactions alot of the time

they're also (im not sexist I swear) also written in kind of a more dramatic or expressive way, like it's very clear who what and why has qualms with x subject

and more importantly since series usually dont fit more than one yuri relationships into the bag, any drama is between interpersonl conflict (the best kind of drama), not something stupid and wrenching like a love triangle

like it's not like I prefer it against other relationships, infact my vision of it is probably warped since I've seen so little, as opposed to regular romance plots, so when it does hit it stands out more

eg girls band cry rn is hitting notes, and it isnt even a yuri
even though currently my most enjoyed is dangers inmy heart (mind you I am no romance fanatic)
