we don't talk about the abhorrent writing, or how the pacing went to hell, but that the art is slightly less artsy?
it's not even that huge of a quality difference, you notice it sure but it hardly ruins the experience
it would 180 into a perfectly written manwha if they fooled mc into leaving because they knew right now he was mentally vulnerable as shit, but also a thrat to the country, with unforgiveable crimes to boot
maybe to possibly take out another SS rank edeya they send him to america, clean of korea's branch, and then he returns
that would be a proper use of his god forsaken ability, especially since if they try playing around the "can't control himself" gimmick any longer I might just freak it (rosemi style)
it defeats the purpose of his "I kill everything and also underworld magic" to have its only drawback taken away from him, I liked it when he was about to kill his allies because it shows there was consequences to using his edeya, but then they showed there were no consequences in the long run so if the pull off this blanket over the head I'd be content
pacing?
plot? story anchorage?
art?
character design, or dialogue?
is it the fights?
maybe the colours, lightning, or backgrounds?
an edeya that turns on allies as much as it turns on enemies is not an asset, at least not one you're meant to empathize and forgive like this
not to mention, we jus tletting go that he killed their men? it's very clear he -cannot- work for them, that was the issue in subduing him
they haven't even considered how this psychotic killer made contact with the terrorist organization they're opping, and still hid the Ss rank thing, meaning as far as they know they might be in collaboration
and we haven't even considered the other consequences and aftermath of the lion's attack, irrelevant to mc, why did we jump to him?
kind of funny actually, waiting to see mc rampage again is definitely a moment
sometimes u just need an edgy powerfantasy
In reality he's been portrayed as a batshit insane character before his rebirth, but he hasn't acted upon it enough to make it believable
rather than just cast away that plotline, or slowly resolve it without any buildup, I need some kind of solid outlier in his behaviour that to them makes him seem evil
being a bit pompous adn snobby, as a noble, is just hardly fitting
his title just doesn't make sense, but likewise their reactions or change in reaction doesn't/wouldn't make sense either
the only way I can comfortably see this progression is if they stalled on to the "mc is a jerkass" thing a bit longer, give it time to grow, THEN give it time to resolve
currently we're just tteleporting between redemptive points, with nothing of substance to redeem in the first place
it's worse because I can't imagine this without the femboy shota
it just hits so well, in various ways
an underrated gem dusty from a bit of fanservice, truly sadness
is this like a 10 panel chapter type manga or what
this is like the tenth time we've been thru this arc
