Ever heard of Book smarts verses Street Smarts?

The MC is Book Smart, comes from a rather sheltered background, and until recently, was doing his best to pretend he wasn't actually a part of Murim.
So, it's actually 100% realistic that he doesn't know how to do Qigong, and not everyone flies into rages at the death of those they care about.

Agreed.
Rice Cake is the best TL... If they had to pick something else, Mochi might have been slightly better... Or worse... Depends on how you feel about the history of Korea and Japan...

Probably new TL, and they wanted to convey the texture better to English speakers.

That's actually a really good point.
If you're literally a walking poison factory, it's guaranteed that you will produce things that destroy clothes pretty quickly, a surprising amount of chemicals are detrimental to fabrics, and equally not all poisons are simply chemicals, some are enzymes and proteins... And those can be even more effective at certain types of interactions... Let's not forget that leather is a chemically treated skin of an animal. Wool & silk are basically the same stuff as hair and nails, AKA forms of protein, and every other pre-modern textile is either the previously mentioned materials, or some variant of plant fiber, which are different kinds of sugar.
Both protein and carbs can be made into highly durable and resilient materials, but equally they're not immune to enzymes, which are the primary way in which they're broken down into their base components.

I'm pretty sure I read this series to completion for some reason... But when I look at the later chapters... It doesn't show the conclusion that I remember... Which means I'm confusing this with another series that did reach completion...

I'm not here for romance though.

Also, the MC doesn't like romance either, so it would make sense that the Romance sucks in this series. 🤣

The whole medical aspect is long forgotten by this point (chapter 140+), aside from a brief mention of Meningitis, it's been mainly about the world, politics, deities, demons, magic, and lore. Which is theoretically alright, but the way it's been executed... It feels forced honestly... Like there are good ideas, but the exposition isn't keeping pace.

This series is unserious and pure comedy... I love it, and my throat hates me as a result of laughing too much. 😂
The emoji usage in this comment is 100% accurate too, by the way. 🤣

The princess, long ago, became the most powerful person in her world, but all she wants is sleep 🤣

I hope so too.

This is definitely one of the better takes on this collection of tropes.

If I were to go by your metrics... At your age, and the span of time, I'd have roughly the same number of orgasms your math presented... Without any periods longer than a week of Abstinence... And I had a 4.0 GPA by graduation.

That was in conjunction with reading 4-5 books per week, playing Pokémon for 20 hours per week, sleeping 8-10 hours per day, and a near daily walk home occupying 90 minutes on average.

I would say you're still suffering from the cognitive distortion that you were exposed to previously.
you feel guilty about it, and therefore it occupies more of your attention.
I figured out masturbating way earlier than you... 8?...and since I never gave much thought to the fear mongering that was rampant as I grew up, even when I did it more than five times in a day, I didn't think much of it...

Fear, and guilt are what have you unbalanced, and believing that one to three orgasms in a day is somehow wrong. My record was 8, and as I mentioned previously, that didn't have any negative impact on my life, since I have self control... And if you think about it, masturbating is a far better route of alleviating stress and anxiety than getting hooked on adrenaline or drugs.

As I mentioned, moderation is key, and it hardly sounds like you've been immoderate in your activities.

Masturbating, like I've mentioned previously, is a form of exercise, too much is always a bad thing, but if it's not actually qualitatively affecting your capabilities in other areas, it's not anything you need to worry about.

Additionally, even ancient western philosophers had similar conclusions about semen being a limited resource and directly tied to a man's vitality... Just look up the Latin phrase for it and what it translates to, and you'll see evidence of the implied importance of Semen... And if you look further you'll discover similar ideas about how it's bad to orgasm...

But that may actually be a byproduct of the Victorians who were doing a lot of the initial work in translating Greek, Latin, and similar languages into English. The Victorians were massive hypocrites when it comes to bodily functions.
