True balance will never be achieved, I agree, but a cycle is still a form of balance.
There will always be problems, trials, and tribulations, but we shouldn't tear each other apart simply because we're different. We need to accept that we're different and allow each other to be different, especially since we'll never truly understand another person that isn't ourselves.

And patriarchy doesn't make people feel safe, not everyone. Even in a patriarchy, the wrong people will be given power simply because they're men with a lot of money, the right connections, or a big physique. Good leaders are independent of gender norms, social norms, and age groups, it's down to the essence of a person.

I agree that men lying and saying they're trans-women to get into women-only sports is a fucking disgrace, since it invalidates real trans-women's efforts to be recognized, real cis-women's womens efforts from both the past and the present, and the real cis-men that are respectful enough of their fellow athletes to stay in their lane and accept their spot on the leaderboard rather than try to boost their ego.
