I like this comic but I get frustrated at the difficult to understand things sometimes said where I don't know how much of it is funky translation. It might be that the round about way they talk doesn't translate so well.

BTW the translations funky. Is MC the author of this book or is Caisy? I assume with the signature MC but that's not what the translation says.

Since this is MC's memories, I suppose Caisy doesn't realize that the police are in on the kidnapping yet.

It seems experiencing MC's memories doesn't include MC's thoughts, which fits with the weird third person perspective where Caisy can see around things that MC would not remember and so on.

Well Caisy was always on the side of good, just didn't realize MC was also on that side.

It seems like the original person "MC" got a raw deal. Some being took over their body so xhe can only observe plus said observer somehow takes all the sleep deprivation and other damage instead of the being that took over the body.

I think such disease have to evolve to be deadly. Not just some disease sitting around waiting to come out. That is why black plague outbreaks don't happen in rat infested cities despite there being no immunization for it.
