You got the order reversed, it becomes difficult to afford to live when you have debt and rent controlling you. Debt, rent, employment, are shackles, not resources.

I appreciate reading your perspective, But I disagree it's Cthulhu type thing, or at least not enough to say that. For one Cthulhu stuff stories always have it as a contagion with a will of it's own. I don't see that in the story IMO.

It's been awhile since I read this but I believe they latter show Irons internal dialogue and it turns out was a decent person. When MC starts surpassing him he's all like 'I knew MC had potential good on em' or something after dealing with jealousy. Or something like that, might be overstating it a bit.

Much worse to be the one carrying, the back agony would be tremendous. If you find yourself face first in water, lift yourself up.

The lower you carry them the harder it would be, I think they would be acutely aware if they were bent down so low the persons face was in the water, that would be very difficult to do.

I think crouching down whole carrying someone, even a small someone, would be a great deal more strain on the back of both people carrying than just planting it directly. Also the risk of injury while carrying a heavy load in slippery conditions would be high as well.

To chapter 16, doesn't seem good.

I've read comics that focus on acting, and make you feel like you understand a little about that world. Here, MC just gives off 'superb acting vibes' like some kind of radiation. A early example of this is MC "acting" like a tree. Just some kind in a corny cheap tree costume holding little branch things and professional adults hallucinate it as a real tree on stage somehow thanks to MC's hallucination radiation.... or something.

I've read comics that exaggerate and dramatize dry topics, like one where the MC works in a SK regulatory agency Fair Trade Commission . But of course with that means real people impacted by things. FTC is great. This comic also excessively dramatize things, but not nearly as well. Also the stakes are not at all interesting, some vague shit about becoming the best actor in the world or something.

Also, you do feel like it's a adult in a kids body, for better or for worse, but it does take it to the extreme with MC acting more like a parent to her own parent, and more of a teacher than the kindergarten teacher

The most logical conclusion is that Monkey wants to get on Nei Li's good side, at least long enough to escape the realm when it collapses after Attending is killed and perhaps even more just for profit. I don't see any evidence of any desire for "revenge"

What's to stop Omph from mass triggering the other-worlder "suicide" mechanism and taking their power? It seems like they are giving that massive issue no thought. One heartless solution would be to hijack the mechanism like before. Sure friends of theirs die either way but at least omph isn't getting that power and they are.
