the art definitely detracts from how seriously i can take the story and characters

the most well-constructed villainess story you'll find. art is great, characters are great, plot is great. if you like the villainess genre, this is the best one

this is definitely worth reading

i've all but given up on manga because most have absurd waits between chapters and/or are dropped way before the conclusion. even though the average manhwa is way worse than the average manga, at least they have defined schedules and more content.

this story would've been way better if it were 150 chapters instead of 400. the pacing is terrible and there are no stakes. most stories have too few chapters; this is one of the few that's not a manhua that suffers from too many irrelevant chapters. half the story is filler at least

honestly, it would be more interesting to have a story called "i can only use fireballs" or something than yet another necromancer or summoner MC. after solo leveling, every single necromancer story feels like a total rip of it. i wish there were more stories where they took a single concept and learned how to use just that, like someone who learns electricity powers from the ground up or something. and too many stories skip every step with powers to make MC OP in 10 chapters. don't know why authors like stories with the plot of "I'm a little baby but I can summon the final boss, what should i do?"

if you had such a treasure map, why would you leave it in a house you sold rather than taking it? and he totally screwed over main guy

story teased that they were going to reunite but the events in this village were years apart. 7 years ago he'd just joined organization and does this village mission, then he becomes teacher, then he meets hero girl, then he teaches her and escapes, then years pass, then girl comes upon village he left his mark on years before. It's not that crazy of a narrative technique

I can't wait until he gets the unnamed martial power and every stat point gives him a million dollars and a piece of unique legendary equipment. And then he learns the name of the power and can read minds or some shit. Too much OP stuff early even compared to most OP MC stories

MC has no personality while having all the cliches. He goes from bowing his head to racists to showing off against babies.

levels and logic clearly don't matter in this story

so his power makes no sense. why would the constellations just be cool with this power existing?

and don't forget the black hair bowl cut that's become more popular than truck-kun in the last five years

So author writes a terrible story with an asspulled plot twist, receives warranted criticism, dies of embarrassment, gets sent into story filled with plot holes, and gets OP powers. Expectations 2/10 going into this
