MC here actually faces a difficult path and has to be relatively smart and resourceful to survive. He's a great MC and the world is pretty decent for this kind of story.

Worth your time. Art quality fluctuates a bit around ch. 40, but it's good overall.

Maybe my humor isn't sophisticated enough to get the joke, but what are you talking about? Is there anyone who actually seriously believes a person loses lifespan by having sex?

Extremely cute and honestly more nuanced than 90% of OP system comics; since it's about a little kid rather than power fantasy, it makes the emphasis more on relationships. The usual system cliches are boring because they're always plot-based over character-based. This one has plot, but the strong characters - with their anxieties, PTSD, etc. - are more in search of meaning and solace than in getting more power. Little girl MC is definitely OP, but in a way that's less about face-slapping bad guys than about helping the adults in her life, growing up, and ultimately gaining the resources to find her bio parents. The dad-daughter stuff here is good, the action is just okay, the funny and cute powers MC has are great. 9/10

Too much focus on the tropes and meta stuff of rofan, not enough actual story/plot.

Basically, it's boring with bad pacing.

This is great. Up there with the other good murim stories.

technically it's not harem, but substantially it is. this has every single harem step except him sleeping with the other girls in the end. tbh, he has more intimacy with all the girls in this than a japanese romance mc has with his love interest over the course of dozens of chapters.

social development where the girls' uniforms (which he tells them to wear) are very necessarily skimpy, where every female character very realistically is in love with him, where every character around him definitely isn't female. even if he isn't sleeping with all of them, it's a harem. "interpersonal relationships" - that's a good one.

it's the manhwa that defined that as a drama trope in comics. everything you read with that trope comes from this

i can't imagine the mindset it takes to say a comic with 695 chapters, a lot of which are filler harem crap, was rushed.

if someone hasn't read a ton of that stuff, i think it's right in the middle. my enjoyment of this was a 3/10, but i think it'd be a 5/10 for a new reader of this genre

Honestly, I could handle the mid art, but I'm so sick of necromancers. After Solo Leveling, it's impossible for it to not feel ripped off and, even worse, destructive to all power scaling within the manwha. There are not enough cons to summoning an army and even more than most OP powers, it trivializes every conflict and interaction.

The most average story and art I've ever read. MC is OP in an unfun way, little girl's whole personality is "i want chicken," side characters are one-dimensional, gate trope is as cliche as you can get (if you've read any "closing the gate" story, you've already read this), the pacing is too fast, action scenes are unsatisfying. A pure 5/10.

i think manga with its slow release times, pedophiliic tendencies, and wimpy loser mc epidemic has major issues too. i do think manhwa has the best mixture of quality and release time if you can build your trope tolerance. i'd rather have a lot of 6/10 comics that release a chapter weekly (manhwa) than a few 8/10s (manga) that release a chapter every two months. i think a lot of manga don't even have enough sample size (# of chapters) for one to make a judgment about quality in the first place.

and they say lloyd is evil, even with that purehearted smile at the end

Barbarian Quest is extreme and homoerotic, but The Marquess's Youngest Son has the most unreadable BL-like art I've seen, mixed with a MC who leans into it as a shota.

the heart tongue thing seems pretty out of place, but i don't think it's actually gay at any point. i do see the yaoi art style later, especially, but i don't think it's that distracting.

It's pretty good, but there are several multi-chapter sequences of the side characters doing some low-stakes nonsense, particularly in season 2 and early season 3. The minor characters are well-developed, so that's not the problem--it's that the pace drags completely when there are five consecutive chapters of very minor characters engaging in a mock battle. MC in this is good in the same way every regressor/reincarnator trying to build up a school is -- he beats up his students but really cares about them. There are times where there isn't enough of MC training and getting stronger. It's mostly a finding a legendary medicine ball or absorption technique kind of getting stronger plot rather than one where he actually trains or does things that should improve his power. It's good at points where MC is at the center or with his students and boring at others when the plot is bound up in purely low-stakes minor character stuff. 7.5-8/10 -- not "peak" but pretty good overall.

I dropped this after like 50 chapters because I was annoyed by how he has literally every single secret identity, from Sherlock Holmes to Van Helsing to Mahatma Gandhi. Can someone who's read all chapters tell me if it cools it with the countless secret identities stuff?
