Not really.
The time limit on when the curse ended was arbitrary. It could have easily have been written as having 5 minutes left to go and then the MC could have just lasted that long in battle.

I think this was a plot point so the MC can discover a way to shorten the curse.

I'm guessing it's the group in that volcanic area where he became a rune smith or whatever it was he did there (It's been a while since I read it)
Don't think most of them were human, but they also weren't on the side of evil either.

So do we know if the MC's group got the correct flag or not yet?

well if she is smart: Blood is messy, and she can pretend nothing is wrong for a few seconds if she returns without being splattered in his blood..
If she is Naive: she doesn't want to kill anyone.

Reaper have only translated up to 130 as far as I could tell... If it was another translator, was the quality at the same level?

If he achieves his goal, will the timeline he returns to be the same - with the director dead etc (He did die and his son tried to kill the MC right?) or will it have changed?

I can't see the logic behind it changing, but I also don't want all the positive changes he has made to be undone...
