The Translated novel is the Web Novel however and not the Light Novel, so it differs slightly to this (manga typically follows the light novel)
For example this whole haircut storyline didn't exist in the Web Novel.

Went to check the novel to see how it ended... only 45 translated chapters (of 400) sadly but...
One of the reviewers read the MTL of the novel and from his complaints it sounds horrible.
