I hope you're right but based on my life experience dealing with really bad people their "victims" reclaimed their autonomy by doing similarly though not as bad to newer partners. This is a refreshing take showing the aftermath of a crush, confession, and then rejection but all done in a realistic tasteful way. While Ooyama should have made his presence known sooner it didn't help that Akutsu escalated it when the villains were walking off. This "girl boss" can act tough shit always sickened me, as a former bouncer I saw my fair share of guys and girls getting into it and too many times when a guy tries to walk away the girl foolishly escalates it into an unnecessary violent altercation. The reality is once a physical contact threshold gets crossed it becomes a sustained level of violence till one party is satisfied with the temporary outcome (till intervention by others or the cops), the reality is that this wouldn't have ended in just one punch and there would have been a good chance they both would have ended in a hospital all because she couldn't let them walk away because she thought they were cucked like Ooyama.

I don't okay the behavior of those two guys, but once they were willing to walk away just call the cops but don't ever foolishly feel you must extract that pound of flesh personally, but if you do they might have the "benefit" of being experience in victimizing people.

Women's instincts are far worse because they actually believe even in bad situations that guys won't hit them and in some cases they escalate in putting their guy in a bad situation. When I was younger and much more foolish, I'd fought both those guys without thinking twice (which I've done a few times) but then I was a bouncer and used to that but now as I'm older I realize this foolishly rewards bad female decisions that could have got them both killed, him hurt her sexually assaulted, or some other combo of it. If this was a male family member of mine I'd tell him to cut her off no matter how good of a girl she was as she was about to write a check with her mouth that his ass might had to cash.
