Agreed, it's literally if you're around the same group of people from work, school, or some other function (church, club, etc) just start talking with them about the little things there and then expand out (ie at work for example ask someone more experienced how to do a particular action, then follow by what they observe could help you, then follow by examples you can learn from other workers, etc slowly expanding out). If you don't have a social common area now then you need to go take a risk and find an external group of similar interest people.

Find a similar interest social group of some type (you can use social media for this possibly) that you can join for events then go from there. An example I can use is maybe a group that does art, camping, or motorcycle riding. Common interests allows you to have conversations by asking and telling, ie sharing information which usually will build a bond later on.

Volunteer groups, join one as some of these are great people who help others and animals. Help the homeless by volunteering for a shelter or places similar to "Pet Smart" allows people to walk dogs (which may be you "adopting" a friend) due to their "no kill" shelters. Initially you may have to give for a while to receive.

This is my first read through and I'm about to quit it because of the lack of progress on all fronts. I also don't like the fact he said "if a girl is in trouble he has to help/fix it..." this implies when his family does "crash & burn" he "will" come to the rescue though other comments prior mentioned it won't happen therefore this adds another poor element: lack of consistency. Personally this manga would be much better if he was hardcore about staying out of all facets of show business, building his life from there, but the wallowing and drifting in/out makes him again lack consistency when he said he wanted a "normal" life.

Just started this manga and agree, they are clueless about management and behind the scene if he was the only person doing everything behind the background. I will admit I always just assume people try to learn a little about their job and it's background jobs so they know how it integrates at all levels, so it's really stupid on this trope that it seems not just one but all the party are completely clueless what the support person does to make their jobs easier.

If you remember under the Hero Association building in the past they had monsters in a basement with implication of studying them, experimenting on them, betting on them fighting, etc so it can be implied that this might be another branch/competition/etc that is also capturing monsters and putting them to use. In the older web comic this is part of the connected story...

I've said this for decades but the two most dangerous killer types that people ignore are the low moral, highly intelligent, very young beautiful women or the very old women. They operate from a status of being physically weaker so they will never go after anyone in any direct confrontational way like how guys do at times, they will be patient meticulous planners, and most of all we'll never know they are as they will take these secrets beyond the grave (and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised that along the way they frame someone else along the way too). I also think these types of killers may even set up a red herring types of distraction where people focus on someone other than them while they are the ones who take out the target (I'm not beneath suggesting they may even work as teams sort of like a mentor/student ie sith/apprentice lol).

Agreed, they think so little of humanity and feel that we are so lacking as a threat that they underestimate some of the groups they've never encountered before. Being able to suck the life energy of a species and putting it to various use with curse tech so far seems to be a game changer.

I think this chapter hurt the villain aura, it seems he needs to use a sneak attack to fight capable numbers so when he goes against Ijin if there is any lack of dirty sneakiness the guy doesn't have the threatening aura of a new capable villain anymore (I don't expect anyone to beat Ijin, but I like it where Ijin can at least be pushed, now I don't feel this guy is at that level of skill).

A successful sneak attack is a smart and winning strategy, what sucks is when you use it and still fail like he did. So not only is he a coward but a failure as well.

Normal way of the majority of the world is sex is for the married and most cases of that were arranged. They knew there is no such thing as "safe sex", just because someone doesn't get pregnant or get STD there is emotional tolls, for example burned out pair bonding which harms family arrangements. I'm okay with ranting or hearing someone else's, unless there is an exchange of ideas there is no chance to learn or improve, whether reinforcing what you believe or changing your mind from the exchange, there is wisdom in sharing knowledge.

She's definitely the villain and ironically I wouldn't be surprised the author will try to bring her back around, hopefully the MC stays start enough to know leopards can't change their spots.
