He deserves a Bonnie to his Clyde, nothing sweeter than a murder fueled couple

I'm not sure how in-universe people could even be hyped about Agnus or his faction? He ambushed Greed and his allies, acted extremely cocky only to achieve nothing, and then ran away when things got hairy. VERY FEW people would want to join up with the cocky coward Agnus.

There's a kill feed, they couldn't possibly be tricked by a false death

Would be great if she acted like a cat in the presence of Encrid, honestly it might even save her skin and gets her pets :3

Possibly, if his killing intent is strong enough the clown might have his heart stop or undergo an ego death, I hope for this tbh, best use of losing the table

It's not like he and Alpha didn't anticipate this, all of that training was in part for moments like this where he's without support. Probably not good for their bonding when he's even momentarily swapping back to his natural state of self reliance though.

Firstly, swings did in fact exist in medieval times such as the simple ones you see today with a plank and some rope tied to a tree, so again, tying someone with a rope so they're held upwards by a tree is nothing new. There's not really any inability for anyone there to have this thought process regardless of IF they actually have "the full time period mentality" of the medieval ages (they likely don't because magic and fantasy elements has improved their lives considerably into more relatable mentalities to the author than would be of a medieval peasant/noble/knight/what-have-you).

Secondly, I think I said this elsewhere but just because he can't do a full technique as it's currently trained doesn't mean he can't work towards developing a partial technique based on restricted movement, meaning he can very well get tied up to a tree to swing his sword. My original point was not that he himself would most definitely think of this, simply that it's implausible that out of the numerous people around him none would come up with this in their despair towards him being unable to do what he loves. Indeed he might be hurting too much to think of a compromise on his own, but to me that's unrelated.

About browbeating: I only know one definition of browbeat, that is "to intimidate or disconcert by a stern manner or arrogant speech", and I asked you for your definition, to which you didn't answer. Simply put I'm (still) confused on what you think the word means. I'm certainly not browbeating by that definition anyways.

As for being stuck on the movement aspect, no, like I said: he can simply develop a less powerful iai technique by being held upright until his companions get him a proper prosthetic.

Your first point: Tying a guy with ropes and hoisting him up with a tree is not so complicated healthy non-nutritionally-deficient fantasy people couldn't comprehend.

Second point: Rope, tree, hoist, anyone present there could figure that out, past knowledge unneeded.

As for browbeating, what definition are you using? I'm not sure what makes you think I'm browbeating a simple concept I think would work.

Sure, but it's not so tragic he can't train a lesser Iai technique based on restricted movement, so at least he still has one of his greatest joys despite the loss

I looked through chapter 1 again, and no, I don't think there's an issue. He realized that moment was the bit of plot where him and his party dies, it wasn't explicitly stated that this was when he realized he was a reincarnator or that his memories were flooding back. I also got the impression that's what the first chapter meant when he said that, but again, it wasn't explicit and didn't exclude him remembering he's a reincarnator in an earlier point in the past.

it took him 17 years of living his 2nd life to reach that point so he likely lost his sense of caution towards the plot and probably more or less thought the fact he was a reincarnator was enough to diverge from this dungeon circumstance.

You're right! But I have to agree with the other commenter that the story's being more dramatic than it could be, for a different reason. MC could be hoisted up by a harness to keep himself upright while he practices swinging his sword again. It wouldn't be the same, it would be stationary, but he could continue doing something he loves, and his companions won't be dying of guilt every moment in his presence either.

I just find it strange that that many people are around him but nobody thought "what if we hoist you up with some ropes and a tree? that way you won't fall and you can swing your sword!" Oh well, I hope it won't be an oversight forever.

Although that wouldn't work: you know what would? Having him hoisted up by a harness. I get that leg work is involved in his full technique, but he could get into practicing while stationary and without his missing leg..

That oversight I mentioned indeed makes it feel like contrived drama to me, it still sucks but it's not so bad he can't swing his sword like usual (relatively).

I see no reason he can't be held up by a harness to allow him to practice the sword again. Sure, it'd be stationary, might feel wonky, but at least he's not falling to the ground and making himself and everyone else cry again.

I'm thinking the blonde boy could've been leveraged by another contestant easily if they were kind and affectionate to him before he had his mental spiral. Honestly I was kinda hoping for that but he just did the common berserker thing instead, which is fiiine, but I had a preference for the former.

Yeahh, I suppose being a massive red flag would scare away people who might try to use her, in that way it makes sense. Still a highly unlikeable character in my eyes though.
