True, and while if she was seeking revenge at the behest of her fallen mage's genocide it would've been more justified the problem relies that she's still obssesed over the same man, she basically destroyed a piece of her souls just for a mere chance to kill one of his decendants, all the meanwhile the emperor would continue to live and the daughter, the true danger would be more empowered to hunt her.

Her actions and motive don't correlate, she wants to destroy the empire build on lies and a bastards greed. Yet she still seeks to somehow stay by him, obssesing over his bloodline and HIS empire. Hell, now we know that the gods blessings still follow the empire (their purple eyes are the key, first emperor blud must've had brown eyes) so his genocide mark remains in his decendants. All of those are valid justification for a crusade, but he still only cares it's all abour him rather than her people.
