well i think because we have no real dragons in our world we cant say dragon:wyvern. but like the comparison you made both lions and cats are felines. so the title would be feline slayer. if we go along with that tought line. wyverns are subspecies of dragons so technically speaking he is a dragonslayer.

but it all comes down to what do you identify under dragon species. are fire dragons more dragon than for example flood dragons? (western vs eastern dragons for those that dont know)
