should you as a person read this?
well if you love manga/manhwa/manhua where they brawl/fight it out. you will most likely enjoy it somewhat. but if you are a person who enjoys both a good story with good fighting. this will feel like kryptonite to you. i personally love mma and i like the idea of mma being implimented into a manga/hwa/hua but this aint the way.

premise:
bullied fat guy goes beyond the edge and takes his own life. MC who was an MMA fighter, who died because of dirty schemes of his manager. gets reincarnated into the body of the fat bullied kid. he gets a system upon his reincarnation to increase his mma skills with points he can get from completing prompts/quests from the system.

ratings:
[ story: 5/10 ] its a classic revenge story but set in an MMA inspired world. there is not much else going on besides mc's desire for revenge and training. the fights are nice but they pail in comparison with the real deal which is the UFC, PFL and ONE championship.
[ the characters: 4/10 ] the opponents and bullies mc faces are somewhat bland. they dont have a personality other than just being there to drive the plot along.
[ the art: 1/10 ] they used either AI generated 3D art or they themselves drew the 3D art. either way i hate it. somethings should never change. like manga,manhwa and manhua being 2d should be kept that way. i hate anything to do with 3D animation. like look at berserk2016 i absolutely despised what they did to my boy guts. or Overlord, to cut down on budget they used 3D animation on the fighting scenes and goblins and skeletons, even the goats. i went from omg this anime is the greatest thing i have ever seen and i am fully immersed into it to wtf is this dogshit art? within 0.01 seconds of seeing the 3D art.
[ world building: 4/10 ] they used the MMA world as their world setting which is nice, however reading it feels like its hot garbage.
[ overal rating: 4/10 ] this is purely meant for people who enjoy reading about fighting, not even superpowered fighting no about actual fighting. but they went and introduced a fucking system which basically means MC is the only one who can cheat while others have to go through years upon years of gruelling training, fighting and sparring to learn&become the best while all MC has to do is press + sign next to one of his stats. that just takes me out of the story instantly. again this is meant only for people who love to see fighting.

conclusion: i just recently watched UFC304. the only thing that comes to my mind after watching that and reading this is that they tried their best to immitate the MMA world and make it into a manhwa. but it just isnt good. i have no doubts in my mind that the author of this story is either a massive mma fan or is an mma practitioner himself. but he fails to recognize that MMA doesnt just consist of Jiu jutsu, boxing, kicking and wrestling. there is muay thai, judo, sambo and karate to name a few others. the rewards mc gets and bullshit story driven training in virtual space. it all takes me out of the whole MMA aspect of the story that the author wants to portay. again i have respect for him trying to do something but i think it is just a poor attempt at something great.

i mean he does, obviously. they are doing what his bullies did but on a grander scale. he is gonna do what he did to the bullies but on a grander scale too. also gym disputes between mma fighters arent usually this dirty. as you train& spar with people you start to respect eachother. this whole animosity towards eachother for no apparent reason than revenge feels abit... farfetched.

i feel sad for the people in the comment section who cant use their brains to understand the action of lew's dad. he knows he cant beat yuki, he however might not want to break traditions. so by challenging yuki to a fight for his daughter, yuki is gonna win and lew is gonna have her freedom. the dad has an excuse that he tried all that he could to bring lew back but he lost. meanwhile yuki is gonna win and prove that he is strongest warrior and best candidate to merry lew which i am assuming is the secret intent in the duel. therefore welcoming his 3rd official wive into the harem.

lews dad is gonna be happy in a little while with grand childeren and everyone is gonna win this way.

i dont think you understand his intention. by challenging a person he knows he cant beat. he ensures that his daughter gets her free will. while also not disgarding his traditions, when others disagree with his decision. he can claim that he fought a duel for her and lost. so this is an absolute win for all 3 of them. yuki gets a furry wife, lew gets demon lord cock, the father gets grand childeren. everyone wins. well maybe main waifu doesnt but i think she already accepted the girls who were in the dungeon as part of yuki's harem. he just needs to compliment her wings as he plays with them to make her forget.

can we achknowleadge the fact that mc has gone from assassination attempt to the next without even a proper rest/training arc so far? the mini powerup arc about ghosts was a freaking assassination foiling too...

the story went from extremely fast paced to slow pace again... idk what the fk is going on anymore. but i am glad to have so normal story progress at the very least, i just hope that the story will end within 200 chapters. its been 11years now since i read the first translated chapters of this manhua...
