A damn good read... but it looks like it'll never be finished.
Good, but kind of, Leave Your Brain At Home.
Before beginning, if you're going to compare this title to, The Boxer: don't even bother reading this!
The Boxer, is one of the best comics I've read(!), while, Kali the Boxer, is very juvenile, plays solely to the tone of being a serious fighting drama and, because of this, is pretty absurd in places.
Basically, a gangster dies, regretting his life choices and wishing he'd used his boxing prowess for the good of the sport, rather than the fast cash of the criminal underworld. He then wakes up in the body of, Kali - a scrawny slave boy, in another world entirely - but he is blessed enough to be a slave training for the boxing arena!
You can probably guess the gist of the story and, where the level of plot armour isn't disgusting, one would have to not think about the physical impossibilities of many match-ups (i.e. fighting a literally gorilla, ffs) to continue reading. The fact that none of the fights (aside from one I won't mention to not spoil things) aren't particularly great, is another minus, but there also aren't any overly drawn-out brawls or filler crap chapters, so that huge plus evens things out.
Having read all 100 chapters currently uploaded, I'd say that, despite one brief lull for some drama (albeit, needed to give the characters more life and to justify why MC keeps fighting), this has kept me entertained and, being on the verge of either the grand ending or a very bold 3rd arc - which, frankly, I struggle to see the author pulling off, so I really do hope it'll end soon - I do plan to continue going.
I wouldn't recommend this to everybody, but if I know you like fighting and you don't have anything else to fill a void, I reckon you could find plenty worse titles.
Tell me that ugly mfer isn't a ninja turtle.
No, I'm just messing with you. Hell I thought Nasha was another isekai, so you're way ahead of me!
Really obvious.

FL probably would've taken the same stance had MC been a bodyguard; the difference is that she's seen what eventually happens to all fighters and knows some fight dirty and sometimes, the wind plain doesn't blow in your favour, no matter how good you are. That's when some arse hole looking to make a name for himself, gouged an eye or makes MC cripple!
Yes, karma's a bitch, but I doubt most boxers in this "era" think thet far ahead.
knewthought his whole raison d'être was to be a free man and bosing was the means to that end. She later came to believe that he was addicted to the rush of fighting.Either way, she's never wanted him to fight. She offered him freedom before to stop - and he wouldn't! That's why she chose the prince: MC can box and she can give him the thing he wanted more than love... but then, MC realised he wanted her.
In short: MC chose her over fighting. Sadly, he soon wanted both and she stuck by her guns and said: It's me or the ring but you can't have both.
I'm very much in her proverbial corner.
