3/5.A for effort, but ultimately, under-developed.
A story about past sins coming back to haunt, this starts off well enough, builds up all the characters nicely, but then comes across as rushed, unclear and kind of silly.The fights annoyed me because I could see what was supposed to be portrayed, but they were all badly executed. There were a few story moments that felt like cliches or just childish - albeit, to some degree, perhaps thet was the point? - and the end is a bit of a, WTF? How...? but this definitely had the potential to be so much better.
I'm unfamiliar with the author, so more of his/her work would be nice, to see how the art form of storytelling grows; the ideas are certainly there!

When he said, Everybody, good bye, after the explosion, I thought he was getting away. Well, that was an anti-climax then.

That fight was a total mess - I could barely tell what was happening and it came across more of a plot armour victory than one earned by skill.

This is pretty lame. Let's hope it picks up.

4/5.A damn good surprise.
I'm not going to lie: having read both Tong and the 1st series, I wasn't expecting much... but this was fantastic!At heart, this a fighting comic about a young adult and his friends, who are trying to out-grow their reputations for being arse-kickers, to live respectable lives but, as usual, twats bring the trouble to them.
When I left a comment/review at the end of the 1st series, I wrote that I'd read this because there was a Dokgo 2 TV series and it's meant to be excellent; I want to point out that it is actually a Dogko Rewind live-action. That is the 3rd series, set before the events of the 1st comic; there's also a Dokgo 3 (technically, the 4th series), which hasn't - as I type this - been uploaded here, but I look forward to reading them both.That's really not something I ever could've imagined stating after Tong, so the author's improved a lot!
Recommended... just a shame you'll have to suffer the faults of the 1st series before a lot of the characters and their motivations make sense to you. At least that one's a quick read.
