Dropped after suffering an additional 16 chapters (I finally dumped this after 117).

The problem with this is that all of the one-dimensional characters became so boring, the story pretty much non-existent (I mean: it got to a point where the MC's fate became obvious, and all else was a paint-by-numbers build up to that godhood), and it felt like I was reading the comic version of a fucking YouTube nerd playing a video game!
This is pretty much soulless and I couldn't recommend it even to the most die-hard fan of the bullshit, Computer Interface sub-genre.

Honestly: if I actually gave a toss about this title, I'd drop the waiting and just read the already completed LN.

Tl;dr: copy & paste adaptions, I feel, are pretty pointless and a wasted opportunity to build on an IP.

The dude read both versions. I heard that, Over-Geared, had an original version that got scrapped, too. Sometimes the author just erases shit that went wrong, waits a few years and then reboots the IP.

It's all cool - I'm not trying to "convert" you, but to give a flipside to the argument for those who might come across it in future.
This is why censorship is evil: it distorts and limits viewpoints, meaning those with tiny amounts of, and/or those looking for more information, are met with dead ends all lf the same opinion (I.e. wear a mask/gay is yay, etc.).
