When I see this in manga and anime I wonder if they know that a name is different from a title. Baron is a title but commoners often name their kids Baron or Prince to give the erroneous impression of noble blood. OK, but when they talk about "Western Democracies" that includes the Americas and Europe. When the Russian press talks about Western Immorality or whatever they mean both places. I still use the terminology but it is archaic and doesn't mean what it used to. Kind of like conservative and liberal. They have nothing to do with the concepts of the 1960's or 1900's. East and West are an archaic way of dividing the world. East is typically like Asia etc, The West is Europe, England and America, etc. It's part of why Arabic counties are called the Middle East, because they're kind of in between. Later the West was still Europe etc, but the East was Russia and Asia was the Far East. People used to write about the Decadence of the West and Inscrutable Eastern Philosophy when they wanted to badmouth each other. It's kind of like how in America Ohio is considered part of the Midwest even though its no where near the middle of the US of A. I hope this clears up my comment.

People get these weird ideas about eastern gods, but the ones from the west have done just as much in the way of bizarre torments and plagues over the years. The biggest difference to me is that the eastern gods use reincarnation to apply their torment to individuals as opposed to the west and middle east where they dump their rath on whole groups. Not sure if they really think about it, but it is a problem, that's for sure.

1/2 Elf + 1/2 Human + 1/2 Human + 1/2 Beastperson = 1/2 Human 1/4 Elf 1/4 Beastperson, and that's upping the Beastperson percentage. It might be 3/4 Human 1/4 Beastperson for Sylph's mom so then they'd be 1/8th Beastperson + 1/4 Elf + 5/8 Human. Hopefully Magic or whatever won't create problems like when you have incompatible hybrids. If Sylph ended up with Liger type problems that would be bad.
