It's a common trope when your mc is "playing for the other side", as it were, but I really don't enjoy when they show the orthodox side as corrupt as hell.
And you know it's coming.
I mean, yeah, there's got to be conflict, and SOME corruption is bound to be going on, but showing the head good guy is implying he's going to be involved in the corruption. And I doubt that everyone in the justice side is complicit...
I dunno, can't explain it.
