That could be it too. I'm just following up on how the teacher guessed that Kaya's mother wanted to ensure both her daughters are shaman and the possible ramifications and reasons of that.

Well I mean, it was a pretty anti-climatic death, for the LN at least. I honestly think the WN did a better job with Yuuki and with all fight scenes overall.

Hah... If he really wanted to distance himself from her, dude had plenty of opportunities to do so, like not buying her a birthday present, for example.

I had a thought. If they knew what items are gonna skyrocket in popularity and be super expensive in the future, can't they just buy a lot of them, leave them unopened and sell them online when the demand increases in the future?

Jeez Murphy, even if you're down on your luck lately, you shouldn't have applied for a role as the villain of the week. Granted you did a great job as always, you should've aimed higher.

"Cursed Womb" is meant to channel the 1st ever priestess's power into the body of the 1st daughter and meant to continue the generations of priestesses. This is what was implied + my own conjecture, Kaya's grandmother was afraid of the spell probably bc the grudges of the priestess from her soul not being allowed to rest, so she did not use the spell, hoping that no one would use it again.

Kaya's mother has an inferiority complex that she is the only one not to be a priestess despite being a 1st born, so she found and used the cursed womb spell on Kaya. Now, if the cursed womb spell could be spammed infinitely, the family probably would've done that to begin with so there's probably a reason not to.

Here lies the problem: Kaya's mother used the "Cursed Womb" spell a 2nd time, on her 2nd daughter, while the Kaya is still channeling the "psychic power" of the 1st Priestess, what's more, Kaya is implied to be the most powerful manifestation to date.

So what exactly is the "thing" Kaya's mother summoned?

It mentioned that Kaushman thought about how he would never catch up to his Dwarven teacher and Acer, a High Elf, in terms of mastery of technique and that he might not even see them again bc they might forget about human lifespan and only visit him after his passing. So he decided to spread his name far and wide, something elves and dwarfs with long lifespans would never think to do, and leave behind a legacy that they could discover in the future.

Kaushman began accepting a lot of disciples and started a workshop that basically mass produced magic tools while also developed a lot of personal and unique magic tools on the side. It was mentioned that all of Kaushman's later disciples were only capable of of making inferior copies even when he personally taught them, which makes sense since Kaushman was a mage first and foremost, with basic smithing training taught by a Dwarven King candidate. Then Acer came in and taught him proper smithing techniques and also shared with him his knowledge on spirits, magic, swordsmanship + some ideas that came from another world, and they both bounced ideas off one another.

It was mentioned that the military and mage tower took notice of his work and personally sponsored him but there was not mention of how much was he censored and what exactly happened after.

All of the above are information Acer compiled from the few history books, old newspapers, hearsay and his own conjectures.

I believe that the legal age for marriage used to be 13 yrs old for female and 16 for male and has been for quite a long time.

Edit: Just checked real quick, Japan changed that law in 2022 so both can marry at 18 BUT they can get married underage with parental consent, likely bc there's still quite a lot of Japanese traditional/powerful/rich families that do arranged marriages.

F*cking hate localizers messing with translation. Especially when some localizer tls came out and said they were purposefully changing the meaning and dialogues in the manga to suit their own agendas. If you want to spread your ideas, fine, make your own comic. Don't twist someone else's work and intentions.

It's obvious that most of the words have been "localized" ie changed since Japan doesn't really have any concept of "modern" gender ideology. While I can't say that same sex love is very supported, it's a general consensus that you are allowed to wear whatever you want outside of a professional environment where your clothing choice might affect the workplace or other people.

There definitely are guys that dress and act like girls in manga and irl, whether they be femboys or buff ass hairy men wearing and/or design frilly dresses like in Arifureta or Bufuri, but Japan and Asia in general do not have a concept of genderless.

Even on the topic of being "trans" while I can't say that there aren't people that want to be a different gender, it's simply not a thing. Yes, there are gender swap and crossdressing stuff but pumping hormones into someone to be a different gender is pure insanity. The closest thing to "trans" Asia has is a trafficking business in Thailand where they "pick up" young boys and force female hormones on them so they would develop female s*xual characteristics and sell them off to wealthy clients with particular tastes. Or when Chinese athletes want a performance boost in the Olympics. It used to be that Chinese athletes would pump themselves full of testosterone for an extended period of time so their bodies would build more muscle mass so they would have an edge over female athletes of other countries, but since the Olympics changed their rules with hormone levels, they just decided to put out male athletes and pump them with just enough estrogen to fill the Olympic requirements.

Yes, I read gender bend manga. I have no qualms on LGBTQ or whatever new term comes up in the future. If you really want to do something irreversible to your body like a boobjobs, boob reduction, plastic surgeries, giving your body permanent hormonal imbalance, whatever the fu*k you want, your body, your choice. But don't you f*cking dare mess around with somebody else's work and culture to suit the needs of your entitled ass. Most people F*cking come to read to relax and escape everyday life, not to have propaganda shove in their throat.
