Demonranger!
Also, props to this dude just enjoying the show. This is all of us and we can't deny it.

Plenty of stories and games about how it was just a dude in the right place at the right time. Just like there's also plenty of stories where it's some chosen one/destiny/they were actually special all along/etc. Try different genres or styles or something and expand your horizons a bit if all you can find are chosen one stories and you're tired of them.
As far as pacing goes, this is one of those that's not very well designed for a weekly-ish series. As something you binge it's more sensible with a mix of heavy action followed by downtimes and moments of peace to catch your breath before throwing you back into it... but most vocal readers following along as it updates over here can't really pull back from it enough to appreciate/simply don't enjoy that format. And that's fine. If you wanna drop it then just drop it and don't come back to it. Forcing yourself to read something you don't enjoy is kinda silly when we only have so much time for relaxing and enjoying ourselves.
Immediately choosing to have a proper talk about things instead of acting denser than a block of concrete or being absurdly stubborn about things. Plus it's not like Elsa didn't have a point or valid reasons to be doubtful after how she ended up learning what she did.
Author hasn't let us down thus far. Let's see if they keep it up and have them talk through things properly instead of having a bunch of zany mishaps drag it all out before getting the talk they needed anyway.
Don't let that evil monster Satan deceive you into believing that all demons are guilty until proven innocent! He's just trying to make Kangwoo and his former associates in Hell look bad as part of his diabolical plans!
NO ONE.
Not exactly the train of thought for someone planning to cheat in some manner now is it?
Just blindfold her. Thoroughly.
Let's say, for example, that the costs for manufacturing and selling an item came up to $100 just to keep things simple. If you then sell that for $150 that's a 50% profit margin. Now let's say some big-shot, super wealth, very important, highly persuasive, etc (take your pick really. There's plenty of ways charisma can work IRL) guy shows up and you decide they're important enough to drop the price to stay on their good side and keep their repeated business. If you drop the price by 30%, that brings it down to $105 which is only a 5% profit... but it's still a profit and you get the benefit of keeping Important Customer happy. With smaller numbers and cheaper things, this isn't something any business would do long term unless running the numbers shows that by appeasing a few key people you get more customers/influence/etc overall which results in more business and thus more money. Plus with bigger numbers, even though you're not making as much per sale simply selling something that big is still gonna be a big payday (IE: Making 200k instead of 500k because the thing that cost you $500k got sold for 700k instead of 1m).
Or to put it another way, You know how plenty of celebrities, longtime customers, people who "know a guy", and other people with similar situations get all sorts of perks, benefits, lifetime freebies, and so on IRL? This is that but as a skill for that guy because it makes them come up with (Insert plausible reason here) to give him that special treatment the same way some things do for people IRL.
But that's just my view on it following the story's logic and what I know about these things. Given his discount doesn't apply to Sherry haggling and yet she can still get competitively lowered prices, it seems easier to assume he's getting something that makes him seem like a big deal than to assume the universe itself is bending in his favor to save him money when he goes shopping. Especially when so many of his discounts are just because of bulk purchasing which is a common enough practice IRL (It's why a single pack is more expensive per item than half a dozen which is more expensive than a 12-pack) to incentive people to spend more overall even if the seller gets less per item.
... Besides, we've already seen mental effects as normal for that universe. Just look at the depression that hits whenever someone gets low on MP.
He's basically getting the perks of being seen as a VIP customer before he'd normally have the reputation to be seen as such... which typically only happens when you seem charismatic and capable enough that whoever you're buying from sees you as an investment. It's easy enough to make happen IRL if you have the charisma and social skills. His skill just basically lets him skip needing those. Admittedly, the discounts you'd get IRL will generally be well below 30% since in most cases 30% off will cause the seller to operate at a loss. Exceptions being made for high end expensive items where the profit margin is wider so a long time customer that they roll out the red carpet for can get a sizable discount without it being a real loss though in many cases such customers have enough wealth that they tend to shop at "If you have to ask how much it costs you can't afford it" levels.
Seems remarkably relevant to your username. lol
It's like they've never heard of a trap before or something!
Girl already has her fallback plan in motion because only an idiot fights a dryad in a forest without burning the whole place down at some point.
Clearly.
