Alice looking great as always! Still stinging from what happened to her but it seems it's encouraged her to cook in her own way too, so we'll have to see where that goes for her.

Well the prologue is over and he's already massively derailed the plot since he's very obviously poking around on both sides now instead of just one route or the other (not to mention winning that supposedly impossible fight).

Now let's see if it can spin an original story or if it'll be unable to beat the Code Geass allegations. After all, he's pulling a Suzaku somewhat, but his "prince" is a blend of Lelouch and Schniezel... and unlike Suzaku who was firmly putting down the Rebellion, this guy actively aided them and the royal interested in him both knows and was responsible for it in the first place.

Some major potential for interesting use of the double life going on. Especially since one heroine thinks he's dead. We don't know what the other one has been told/shown either, but both of them are clearly going to be using him as motivation to push themselves and he's going to have to find a way to get through to them both on top of getting them on the same side.

It's a pretty good binge, honestly. A lot of the stuff that felt slower ends up having a pretty steady pace on a binge. Plus easier to not forget all the details instead of trying to remember who a character you haven't seen for a year and a half is.

Oh wow.

Instead of torturing us with her taking his crap at face value and a misunderstanding arc, she actually cuts right through his nonsense and goes for it. That's a win in my book.

Also, mad props to the TL for all the additional background he provides each chapter. It makes a lot of things much clearer in many ways.

They have Chapter 16 up as well, but it's paywalled and I haven't seen it on any aggregator sites yet.

Feels that way because we didn't expect this to end up being a major arc combined with the slow release time for how much we actually get each (half) chapter.

Other times we've had that were a similar length happened back when it was updating more often so it felt shorter. Especially if you started reading later and just got to binge through it.

Does this mean Chapter 15 will be added her soon too?
