It's common bullshit because it's easy for it to be true and unless you already know and are close to that person it's pretty much impossible to verify.

In anime/games/manga? It's almost always false. In real life? It's usually true but can depend on the maturity and personality of the person involved. So bullshit to a reader, but understandable bullshit if the reader uses their life experience as the lens for it rather than their knowledge of the medium.

Call me heartless, but I feel the only time it's even remotely sad is when it's an actual child that was forced into it somehow. If they're merely wearing the guise of a child on top of everything else, it makes me actually want them to go down harder just to drive home the point that sort of thing should never be done (like with false doctors or whatever who end up going on killing sprees and similar such abuse of what should be safety or at least given a chance under normal circumstances).

Funny thing is, I thought it was pretty obvious Yuuki was faking it just based on how things had been playing out and what we know of his character. Nice to know it comes back directly to bite her for being way too smug and arrogant since pretty much every move we've seen her make so far has reeked of her underestimating her opponents, choosing the worst possible option she could make, and then doubling down instead of even considering the possibility of backing off from poking the bear.

Which makes sense, all of them recovered their memories of him betraying and killing them, so if she just lost her discovering that he's actually trying to save everyone then she'd probably try to kill him if only to keep him from becoming the monster she would think he'd be.

But since she also has the obedience spell towards him on her and knows she requested her own memory wipe, that's making her pause enough to know that something's up that's related to him but that she shouldn't think about it too hard or she'd undo whatever safety her more informed self set up in the first place.

Basically? She figured out the entire situation and she's smart enough to understand she has to protect him from herself on more than one level. It wouldn't surprise me if she's also left clues for herself to find once the dangers of her remembering have passed so that she can go back to being firmly on his side.

Might have been a bit early, relatively speaking, but guy needed to have SOMEONE he could actually be honest with or he'd have gone insane. Besides, it's a good way to show us the consequences and make it clear that this isn't something he'll want to repeat if he can avoid it.

You're forgetting that despite being a group of general tribes, they also are all allied under the Sage Emperor regardless of what MC does with them. Even if he could con them into temporarily working with humans, it would be the same as back at the illusionary palace. A temporary alliance of convenience where both parties fully intend to betray one another at the earliest possible chance. Remember, despite everything else, the humans and demons are not on the same side and changing the leadership would not shift that status quo short of MC either killing all of the ones eager and willing to harm humans (which is a majority of them even if some have not actually done so yet directly) or finding some way to bind and control them all so that they're actually unable to harm humans or be otherwise turned against humanity even when the time comes for the Sage Emperor to step in.

I intend to laugh at everyone complaining when it winds up not actually being what they all jump to the conclusion they think it is and instead a bunch of dumb coincidences that are skewed through the lens of MC's jealousy and possessiveness over someone he doesn't even have the balls to speak with honestly.

Seriously, even if she was with some dude it wouldn't be NTR as it stands because despite his obsession with her, MC hasn't even tried to tell her jack shit and she clearly sees him more as a little brother type figure and he's done nothing to even try and make her believe otherwise. Hell, she gave him a chance on a silver platter to clear everything up earlier and instead he ran away from it like a complete coward. Even if this were going down the route of her banging, which is pretty unlikely given the way these tropes and stories usually go, MC would absolutely deserve to get shut out from how he's been acting.

It'd be kinda hard for him to kill her since her getting raped and killed back in Chapter 1 is what he was framed for and the whole reason he wants revenge after getting dumped in the dungeon.

She doesn't actually love him yet. Her pride's been stung because despite giving the body's original owner her virginity (which was something she did for the sake of power but whatever), the fact he had a Sword Spirit and it wasn't her was basically a slap to the face to show that she has no sway whatsoever with him. Then seeing afterwards how he pointed out she'd know if she managed to give him a sword spirit and that a few days of playing nice isn't enough is the bucket of cold water for her to actually start to realize that she's the problem here and if she doesn't improve herself that she's gonna be screwed on that end.

It's not love at this point, and MC basically is also saying here that they're using each other mutually and he has no intention of getting into a fuss about it. So unlike what a lot of people who don't read think, he's not simping for her or any of that stupid garbage. Now that she's had her wake-up call she can potentially improve but this story's done well enough on characterization that those paying attention should be aware it's gonna come gradually over time rather than be one giant asspull in one go.

I'm amused every time she shows up and people freak out about her faithfulness or whatever like they all either haven't been reading or somehow forgot that this entire thing started with her planning to kill the MC's body via screwing him and absorbing his energy. The whole "husband and wife" thing between them has, from the very start, been no more than a pretense between the two of them to keep up appearances while mutually using each other once MC managed to escape the whole "death via sex" thing and rise in the ranks but not get powerful enough to completely outclass her and the consequences he'd have to deal with for ditching her completely.

Honestly anyone who's made it this far and even remotely thinks faithfulness or NTR or whatever is even remotely a part of this instead of two dicks using each other hasn't been paying attention.

Ha. You should've been around for things like WoE back in Ragnarok Online. Massive Guild vs Guild battles except each Guild can hold 56 players at a time... which sounds small until you realize that ANYONE in a guild could join in those fights including having allied guilds coming in to help you defend so it could easily end up being something like 200ish players on both the defense and offense going at it for a couple of hours and that's just the organized folks rather than the random ones who can potentially jump in to try their luck at sneaking a victory during the chaos.

World Bosses weren't that bad even before 5 APS became a standard thing and folks hitting the level cap/Rank Gear becoming more common, and so on. Well, most of them weren't that bad. Stuff like Harpy Wraith was still a royal pain but even that wasn't a 100man fight for the first time we killed it.
