It's less a comprehension issue and more a matter of staying concise, i believe. A novel will always have more dialogue because that's how the characters interact and how the reader interacts with the characters, in a novel the dialogue is the high energy points and the description is low energy. In visual adaptations it's the opposite, the dialogue is the boring part, especially for exposition. Everything you just said could have been walls of text or long chapters of characters conversing but it would have been boring as hell. Ultimately these are two different medias that capture attention in different ways and depict characters differently for the sake of storytelling.

What's the point in those dots in the aura, it doesn't look good. They did the same in A Returner's Magic Should be Special and it just made the whole art overwhelming for the eyes.
