Most of the stories where the MC is being nice and naive its often towards individuals that legitmately wronged him.
Perhaps the flower location was the shield masters idea and we will find out more nefarious nonsense down the road, but at least with the sword master child hood friend its certain that it wasn't done in malice.
Perhaps the act she was putting on was also at recommendation of others ect.
Point is, MC did almost die, but from what we know of the story for now, no maliciousness was intended, hence why his actions are viewed as over done and edgy.
Even how he reacted when getting expelled honestly was off/wrong.
Used to think I wanted that in my stories, but realized overly smuty series just detract from good story telling.
Better to keep my escapism and porn seperate.
The one who was poisoning him when tia first met him. Of course he would take any opportunity to knock her down a peg and put her in her place.
I know perez knows the engagement is fake, but also, he doesn't wan't it to be fake.
The only wierd thing I find with this story, obviously the author is hard shipping tia and perez, more over feels like the direction of the story is going to be much like with tia before her regression with perez becoming the crown prince/future king.
How is tia supposed to be the matriarch and the queen at the same time?
Couldn't get over him being a whiney bitchass in the first 10 chapters and then ultimately the insinuation that he was going to cheat in the chunin exam (did he? I am assuming he did)
Couple that with what bits I have seen from clips of the anime and the fact that a show about "boruto" seems to feature sasuke and naruto very heavily still.
IMO there were plenty of stories to tell in the ninja world especially since everybody still had blood feuds/only came together and united to fight madara at the end of the original manga.
That said, those other stories would have been better told in a far off village with fresh characters featuring OCCASIONAL cameos from the OG's as a nod to the original fans but not enough to overtake or interfere with those new characters story.
By centering the story directly on naruto's son, really knee capped themselves in that department IMO.
That is to say between boruto being initially irredeemably unlikable and the setting being a total miss for me, I checked out around the first 10 chapters of the original boruto manga.
Why is this series still ongoing if so? and really memory loss as a plot device/trope... yeesh.
The "fake" "temporary" engagement that tia and perez have.
Mainly on tia's side. We all know perez is serious about it... but tia doesnt... poor perez...
If teacher is family's killer AND mastermind, this will be a short series and the girl will likely regain her voice after the murderer of her family is brought to justice.
But I have a strong feeling that I am close to the mark.
This isn't due to prediction in the sense of foresight however.
I read a lot... and I mean A METRIC TON of manga, manhua, and manhwa, in addition to used to read a ton of WN/LN (been meaning to get back to that just haven't lately) and of course watch anime.
It is of my opinion that there really isn't many "unique" stories, as in every story has been told, every trope has been played out ad nauseum. What makes one story good/bad is how well you tell that story...
A good example would be demon slayer, there are tons of anime about monster/demon/spirt slaying/fighting squads of supernatural power users, of course the anime is beautiful and among the highest quality of series, but its base story isn't anything special if you melt it down to its summary and tropes. However how the characters interact, their unique motivations and back grounds. How tanjiro shows compassion for the demons without going down the softhearted shonen MC path of being merciful, where he still finishes them off but comforts them in their final hour.
Anyways I have made predictions that are way off the mark in the past too mind you.
But given the context of the story, with the detective prying into the girls past, her reaction to the teacher, the fact that we know she is being targeted among other things.
The only twist I foresee possibly, is, that perhaps some one else is targeting her but teacher is her families murderer who has sent him to the school to try and "take care" of her. I say that only because, if teacher was the master mind, would cut the series short (and many manga have a tendency to try and milk a series for as long as they can...)
Likely the person who has been targeting her the whole time.
This is my prediction. The "parents" are either relatives who raised her in lieu of, or adoptive.
