Just because she is capable does not take away consideration for her character. She proves everyone right by betraying everything that she is supposed to represent. Everyone saw the nastiness of jealousy in her heart and those feelings led her to cross the lines that should never be crossed. You are trying to justify a villains irrational thoughts. Because she doesn't receive the recognition that she believes she deserves she is resorting to the eradication and betrayal of her sect and is colluding with the demonic forces.

You do realize that Feng Jung holds an elite position in her sect correct? That means she enjoys the privileges of holding an advanced position, they may not be equivalent to Xin Yan but they are still privileges afforded to someone with an elevated status. She betrayed her sect because she wasn't getting exactly what Xin Yan was getting. She is not being mistreated it's all problems that come from her jealousy. It's justifiable to hate her because she's planning a MURDER for such a petty reason.

Literally in the next chapter HER MASTER tells Feng Jun "You and Xin Yan are no different, except...your jealousy has been amplified by the cultivation technique" She even admits in the fight "I'm jealous! so what?!?". This proves the first comment that I made that you downvoted to be correct. And this also proves the further statements I have made in this comment section to be correct as well. YOU ARE WRONG.

She said those words because her friend was hitting on her not because she didn't care for her friend. Notice how Feng Jun's blushed face turned dark after being rejected. Xin Yan was simply reminding her friend that she is in a relationship.

She meant that in a romantic sense. Feng Jun was trying to flirt with her, look at the last panel in chapter 418 she tries to hold Xin Yan hands. Now look in the first panel in this chapter and notice the *withdraws* gesture that Xin Yan did when pulling her hand away. That's when she said "The only person in my heart is Chao Ge". She said those words to remind Feng Jun the only person she will have a romantic feeling for is Chao Ge.

Feng Jun's reaction of jealousy is further proven when she thinks "Xin Yan, You're still as cold as ever, just like before, never paying attention to me...". Xin Yan never said she didn't matter and in fact drinking with Feng Jun at night shows how Xin Yan thinks they are amicable friends. She never treated her with disrespect.
