my life has been good even though i am not living in the safest place in the world. but imagine living in a 3rd world country where with one wrong step you could wind up dead(or worse) as a below average guy/gal where basically everything is against you on your way to gain some semblance of the life some people would call hard earning less in a year than what ai could earn with a minimum wage job in japan in a month. now imagine that + someone with a similar or worse life story and you got hell difficulty. also ai's childhood not even the harshest story in manga(talking about realistic ones obviously), you could find dozens with worse childhoods

hell? this is not even close to hard difficulty when it's in a country like japan and with her looks. with just a little bit of street smarts she could be in a similar position to what Miyako wanted to be and not have to resort to worse/shadier stuff. luckliy for her she landed on something better than that

did the novel also end like this? since on both sites i usually check i see the novel as ongoing so i was curious if it went further in the novels
