Lol, Arthur shut the human king down real quick. He won't forget or forgive the bullshit they put him through and nearly killing him and selling out to the enemy. The human King and Queen deserve the same fate as the Dwarve monarchs.
I disagree. They were wrong, yes, but they acted out of fear for their children and a desperate belief that it was their only chance. They never liked the idea, and wouldn't have gone with it if they felt they had a choice, but with the dwarf royals already selling out they saw no other hope. When the dwarven bastards were removed and allies came to show them at least a glimmer of hope they took no convincing to join the right side. It's what they wanted in the first place, all they needed was a way out of the corner they were backed into.
Remember, even as they were cooperating they were doing so grudgingly and were wracked with guilt and doubt the whole time. They didn't want to, they just felt like they had to. Contrast this with the dwarf royals who were gleeful about it and acting out of pure greed with not the slightest care for who it cost for them to get what they wanted. It's the difference between someone who sells out and turns traitor for their own selfish gain and someone who commits the betrayal under duress because they are being threatened if they don't cooperate.

THE FUCK i thought it was only Tess who hurts mc the dragon dies too holy shit guess i gotta drop this now and count this as the ending of the season otherwise i may just get more depressed
omniscient reader viewpoint nah mate i am already in on that i cant relate to the losses he will face and all and i already got spoiled in detail for a lot of things in it so it wont really effect me that much 😅

Honestly don’t care if Tess is sealed and can be brought back when reading the novel was hoping he would have to kill her cause she in general is just a bitch. No matter the times he warned her she would always make the worst choices.
also i was told that tess is gonna get possessed and arth is gonna have to fight her well well thats not so bad i guess i hate when stories turn into tragedies but some conflict wouldn't really affect me that much

Who the hell is she? My best guess is that since Lance Alea died and Lance Olfred and Lance Mica were released from their oaths, that left three empty spots for this new chick, Arthur, and probably someone else yet to be introduced.
didn't aldrin, or whatever the guy was named (third eye asura) say he took olfred and mica's oath into himself (or whatever you do with the oaths)? i was rereading a little bit and it was at that part, i think that was what he said
Lowkey forgot Elijah existed. And that he got kidnapped or some shit. And that one blonde dude went nuts. And the curse marks or whatever. It’s all coming back to me as I type you guys. Don’t mind me.
I remember in the novel, one of the lances was supposed to be quite alluring and flirtatious, but here they passed her off as just another insignificant lance. I quite liked the cast and uniqueness of each lances, too bad
Suddenly having to give a speech that I couldn’t have prepared for about something I didn’t know would happen is kind of my nightmare and I don’t even have a phobia about speaking in front of a crowd. I just need some preparation is all.
Yeah, why the fuck they drew her as asleppy and sluggish person. Rather she is a battle ready showing distinterest in trivial matters, strict general. Her having sharp eyes is must
Agrelokgood chap but what the FUCK did they do to varay
The start imo The novel has better dialogue and even Arthur's character is different as well. It's also interesting to compare the two since the narration changes from different characters' POVs. Otherwise last paragraph of chapter 144 if you want from the end of last chapter or around third paragraph of chapter 145.
I thought he was pretty different. He's still the same character in both iterations but he's different subtly. It's just details that make the novel better but it's not like i can blame the webtoon there are some things they inevitably had to leave behind because it would drag it on. Arthur's more complex moments of reflection were part of it and it made his character slightly more childish.

I'll put this under spoilers just in case, TL/DR at the bottom He acts and thinks older and quieter, he has a lot of moments where he just stops to think and gauge other people's reactions to his actions. Also much more introspection and more conversations with Sylvie and later Regis. In the webtoon Arthur can come off as a "more mature than his peers" child whereas in the novel he actually gives off the impression of a grown man in a child's body... Especially during his stay in Xyrus Academy. I found that they dumbed him down a bit during this arc, maybe not to overshadow the side characters. Like the scene after he beat professor pedophile and went to Goodsky's office was VERY different and it actually felt like they were talking as equals. Also there is a lot of explanations of the magic system that is lost because the webtoon didn't have the time to show all the scenes where Arthur was teaching or just didn't extrapolate because it needed to save time for story progress.
TL/DR More introspection, more thoughts and dialogue that sounds like a grown man (seriously Arthur genuinely thinks he's good at acting as a child and it's hilarious), more description of the world and magic system and most importantly more Sylvie.
Also i forgot to add but TurtleMe's way of describing things is very pleasant. Especially later on when we get to read about aether and more abstract concepts.
Losing intrest in this new season mc looks like an push over of every one no personality or character wtf doing as asked like other what is with this puppy apussy like behavior????
MydeimosThis is on the same level as saying that he wants to cook mc miso soup everyday https://i.postimg.cc/X7hWHLTv/i.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/4NnZQq2M/i.jpg
They don't explain to the kid because of a mixture of wanting to protect them and knowing that they aren't in the right. That telling their child to turn a blind eye to injustice is wrong, but valuing their child more than doing the right thing.
Like how after recent events in politics, I bought a gun to protect my family in case of total anarchy or WW3 breaking out, despite thinking that it was a morally incorrect thing to do.
It is really hard to weigh morals with the safety of your children.
Ghost Rideri mean, look it on another hand she was like 15 when her death was supposed to intervene so much thing she couldnt do, bear in mind she was mostly a kid pretty much at all time, literally all she could do is to wait and fear now, if say she was given a bigger sneak peak than just ”You gonn die in pain” then yes, but really at the state she had it it was pretty useless
TheFatDelinquentVery clever move. Kill the ones close to them and they will become loyal to the Empire. Even though they know it was the Empire that killed them.
