  • i like this king and queen, they still can listen other people.

i don't really like the way how they tested MC, but it still understandable because they really need to..

But they still leave the scolding and educating their own kid to other people. They didn't seem to care about their mistake in child upbringing..

yes and that actually school for, for parent to entrusting their own child education

the fact they are giving 100% control over it already good thing because this school is dormitory right?
so it's hard for parents to scolding their own child themself, except if that child got suspended and had to send home

Nah, that way of thinking is wrong. Schools are there to teach academics, thats it. It is the duty of the parents to teach moras and ethics. That's why these parent teacher conferences exist, if the teacher identifies what they view potential issues with the student's morals or ethics, they inform the parents so that the parents can make a decision on the matter. In this case, the parents agreed with the teacher's assessment and gave her permission to take actions to correct such behavior. The only time a school is allowed to take disciplinary action on their own initiative, is when a student has violated the school's rules, and only because the parent gave them the permission to do so when they chose to enrole them in that school. (Large part of the reason why school choice laws need to be implemented instead of forcing them to attened a certain school, if they cant afford private or home school. Also why i have no sympathy for when a child or parent pitches a fit when they get punished for violating a rule at a private school, no mater how stupid you think it is, its the school's rule and you chose to admit them there, its on the parent to research the school and chose the one with policies they agree with) )100% control should never be given over to schools, schools being given too much control is what has been causing a lot of problems in the u.s. today because there are a lot of schools and teachers that view it as their right and duty to shape their students moral values to their own liking regardless of what the parents belive or wish for their child.

Agreed, but several factors in schools or any other elements can influence or subject the child, to direct them towards wrongdoings or misdemeanors. It's like one of those tropes, the rich kids try to fit in with the cool kids/bullies, asserting their own wealth and status to look down on others and gain favor from the bullies themselves. I don't necessarily think it's mainly the parent's teaching at fault here, many other aspects and factors play in Rock's judgement.

"Schools are there to teach academics, parents to teach morals and ethics" i would just say yes and no, as far as i know in my country both are responsible for academics, morals and ethics, its' just depends how and when:
              - for example if students do bad thing morally or ethically at school it was teacher responsibility to correct them at that time then report parents afterward if necessary,
              - and if there is some homework child don't understand really well but somewhat parents know it and had time to teach then that was parents contributing some academics no mater how little it is.
idk how it does in other country, and i agree with the most of what you said.

and now i'm specifically talking about manga, because i only assuming things now:
it's hard to monitor your child if it was dormitory system, and idk if there is any communication magic or not for teacher to report to the parents if the child do misbehave, and even in many other manga i read so far most noble parents 100% leave their child education to their own selected tutor and even some of them do teach bad thing without their parents knowledge and only knowing it until it's too late.

Here is where you are wrong.
                Schools have codes of conduct
                - this teaches morals
If a parent refuses to correct their child, it is within the schools scope to report illegal actions to authorities on behalf of other students. Even if the victim doesn't want to press charges.

Although a suspension may not lead to immediate correction, a suspension can lead to expulsion
At which time it becomes the parents problem to find a new school or face legal action themselves.

Normally schools refuse to invoke their rights for fear of reprisal and thus why we have delinquents emerging today

Now in a fantasy setting where kids are capable of using power equivalent to a gun, the teachers would have to be allowed to use force to an extent to address combative behavior

oops wrong person... But it got out anyways.
                    Yeah... In agreement.

Meant it for prime. Schools at least in US can't instill very high means of punishment. That was what i was getting at. Its only a case of wasting the students time or reporting to authorities who then deal with it

Don't know what country you're from but parents having the right to dictate the maner in which their child is educated is a recognized human right, as stated by the Universal Rights of Man, which is one of the core documents on the United Nations. If the parents wishes to exercise this right by choosing to have others do it for them, thats on them, if a student breaks a school rule and the teacher discipline them, assuming it's a private school, that's still on the parents because they should have done the due diligence to research the school and chose to enrol their kids there. It still comes back to the parents. The problem in the U.S. is that unlike Japan, not all of our schools are private, most can't afford to go to private or be home schooled, so most attened public school which is mandatory, then these teachers who parents don't have a choice in are indoctrination children with ideologies that the parents don't agree without their knowledge or consent, like teaching 6 year olds about sex and gender ideologies when they should be teaching them to read, write, and calculate.
As for the story, the nobel parents still at some point give their consent, the school is not being handed over 100% authority in regards to these children's upbringing, hence the parent teacher meeting, the parents may not be as involved, but they are still involved.

If your parents are the king and queen of a country that's kinda hard to do cause they'd be busy leading and dodging political backstabbing of the opposing nobles.

Sorry, but there's a difference between schools teaching intermediate and advanced morals/ethics/manners as part of their normal academic education, and schools having to re-educate all the basics of how to behave around ppl because the narcissistic and spoiled brat's rich parents missed to teach him that his position doesn't mean that he can treat everyone else like laws and human rights don't exit if it's him breaking them...
the first one is what is part of the school's purpose, the second one... there are specialized institutions and schools for that... and I wouldn't be surprised if teachers there get paid an additional hazard pay...

Considering that their kid bullied ppl, injured multiple students and attacked a teacher, they should have just made up some random long lasting illness and took that ticking time bomb out of school, put under house arrest and later admitted to a school for problem children instead of pushing it onto the very teacher their kid attacked... but no... to 'save face' we gonna continue to cause problems to the entire school...

That warning let him save his people.
