They can try to dig the ground a little to trip the werewolves. Or go for the alpha but either of those things can kill 90% of their squad anyways.
Or he can start learning from everyone in that squad and what they know about the environment and situation, maybe he learns something that can be combined with his todays
Remember that it isn't always about him climbing a wall solo like the time he went to scout and learnt about hunting from that hunter and tracker dude in his squad.
CursenBecause....you can't just lure that huge pack of werewolves into a tunnel and not expect to be caught in middle of them. You'll get sandwiched between a platoon of soldiers and pack of werewolves, imagine them working together too if someone is controlling them
