My personal ranking of danger:

1- God: It's God.
2- Death Curse: Unknown danger, but seemingly a death sentence to anything.
3- Demon: A Demon King is a match to an Alien and the Titan Leader, so the Great Demon King must go even higher.
4- Aliens: One alien was defeated by the Titan leader and their Large Ship was destroyed by a Kaiju. However, they still have large numbers and unknown technology in their mother ship.
5- Kaiju: Too big to be killed by direct damage by any single unit, however aliens and demons have armies available.
6- Robots: They adapt to the enemy they face, growing stronger and immune. Aliens can certainly disable them since their technology is superior, but if an Alien falls prey to them and get reverse engineered...
7- Parasite: A silent threat to everything except robots and aliens. However, when you know the mechanism of transmission, it becomes a non-issue.
8- Titan: The average Titan got clapped by everything in this manga already, the only exception is their king that is as strong as a Demon King. However, there is only one of him, if he gets killed is over.
9- Neo-Human: About as strong as the average Titan but larger in the numbers. Not a threat for the top contenders.
10- Wild Green: Basically giant animals living in a giant forest. Prey for the top contenders and they don't leave the forest area anyway.
11- Lawless: Pitiful humans but with less morale. Anyone can defeat them if they are not stupid.
12- World Tree: Unknown but doesn't seem to attack directly.
13- Video games: Unknown but come on.

  I made a similar list back in chapter 4 forgot the Kaiju, I'd scale it high tier between the aliens and the huge world tree because I believe that they can if they really wanted too against the Kaiju take them out in orbit out of the range of the Kaiju (sort of like the meteor wiping out the dinosaurs...):
  
  I won't ruin this for others but the above is my speculation, I don't have any advanced knowledge and this is how I rank these "natural predators" without prior knowledge and it'll be interesting how my theory holds/fails:
  
  Tier Alpha: 1 Mad God's (it manifested due to human's faith. An exalted god), 2 Misfortune (calamities), 3 Cursed Destruction (environmental disaster/deterioration),
  
  High Tier: 4 Machine Rule (Artificial Intelligence), 5 Cosmic Devil (aliens), 6 Huge Tree (World Tree/life force sucking), 7 Magic Forces (Demons), 8 Parasite,
  
  Low Tier: 9 Wild Green (untamed wilderness), 10 Giant, 11 Neo-cruelty (bio-engineered/eugenics)
  
  Additional victims: 12 Recreation Hell (games are everything, don't return soon... there will be a penalty), 13 Lawless (lawless bandits)

Hopefully Rinri doesn't come back as parasite thing, there is no way he has the willpower to maintain control if such a thing is possible.

RIP if you can't even pray, not even to the thing itself, but just in general thats crazy.

Stupid... so very stupid... Should have taken the time to escape while the parasite eliminated the Lawless. Yeah, that thing would still grow massive, but that's a problem no one there could have solved anyway, so just let another apex deal with it.

  I could see why they would stay. The parasite is definitely faster than them and I don't think the lawless would hold it off long enough for them to get to safety. It's basically a debit or credit situation. Do you want to fight it now, while it's growing, or later when it's much stronger and smarter?

    They couldn't beat it while it was growing either, so there was nothing to gain, their loses are just increasing over time. If they run, they have a greater chance of escaping than trying to fight, so it definitely was the superior choice.

      At the same time, where would they go? They definitely can't go back to the base and if they run as a group the super parasite will hunt them. Their only chance of some people escaping would be if they all ran in different directions and that would separate them which is practically a death sentence. The parasite also has the ability to split so running in every direction also might not work. I think they were just trying to buy time while they could still hold it back, even if only a little.

        I don't think the parasite can survive long outside a host, as it is a parasite. Even moving a little further into the ruins would have been preferable than having a bunch of civilians right in front of that monster.

        It didn't just shoot off little parasites. It also made ones that were bigger than humans and the parasite that infected zabya seemed to have no problem living when he expelled it from his body since they kept it to threaten the lawless. I do agree that they should've had some people go and take the civilians away because they would serve no purpose outside of feeding the parasite and making things worse.

  I think they underestimated the parasite. It was just a big bear. The Rinri guy one shotted the bear. They didn't think they would lose that hard.
