I know i might sound batshit crazy but that oil (from you scalp) is the one thats protecting the hair. It keeps the hair moist and not easily damaged.
Think about it.. some people use shampoo to clean the oily stuff.. then they apply some pomade. Do you know whats pomade made off? Oil. Wqter is enough to clean your hair off the dust and common dirt. And the natural oil isnt something to be get rid of. Well you can use shampoo when uts starting to get itchy or you actually have some kind of medical condition. There is q youtube video about that and with sources

I have seen it personally..and i think this is way scarier than deduction or intuition.. my mother, a few months back was suddenly having insomnia. No history, no sickness, no stress, no thoughts provoking topic. just couldnt sleep... this lasted for a few weeks...
Months Later i found out that while my mother having insomnia, my sister (which in another province) was having the lowest mental state of her life... i.e. suicidal. Fortunately this has pass and my sister is okay now.. the time frame was impeccable. When my sister starting to get better so did my mother's insomnia. And mind you.. the two of them haven't get in contact for a while...
