I bet he won't kill the ouroboros leader either. Instead the guy gets killed by some other 3rd party, like some demon etc. that's controlling/using him against other humans.
You can see it right from the story's beginning if we are dealing with an author who makes their protagonist kill other people, or just doesn't no matter what happens.
Let's be real. This MC is what I'd call a "mentally weak". Meaning he wont be killing other people.

I think MC still doesn't have an understanding, nor has he even tried to really find out, about how valuable those plants are which he looked out for the adventurers guild. (Or have I just forgot about it?) Clearly they are way, way more precious than he has even imagined. In all honesty he should've found out about those herbs before the mission, and how valuable they actually were. Then he coul've made more informed decisions & negotiations regarding the guild and the noble guy.

Also, just my personal opinion but this MC is kinda foolish when he's put on the spot. He should've made up a lie that he has some special power, etc. which can't be thaught to other people when it comes to getting those herbs. Now he basically f*cked himself up.

But then again all he has to do is wait to get the armor, then he can just lie about teaching a group of people to get the grass, meaning he takes them with him to the spot, and just gets them killed there. Then he can just bail out to another city.

Author missed a huge chance here to show how the A-rank party's member associate back into their former lives. Like how they find out their families are still alive and waiting & hoping for their return. Just making the guild leader a sibling or a fiancee to one of the party members was a missed chance for some emotional meetup of lost loved ones.

In Ch 9. MC says while looking at the guild board, that meals cost 1000 ZOR per meal (either on average, or the guild/academy, it wasn't specified),
which I already though to be a translation error of some sort.
And in this chapter the reward for taking down a B-class beast is supposed to cost 8000 ZOR, meaning 8 meals worth to risk your life (actually by all sense, B-class beast is a high one, meaning a party of regular people probably is a minimum to take it down)..? How does that make ANY sense.
This is the reason why you should explain the most basic sh1t information about currency in your world, and how much costs a night at the inn, how much a regular person makes money in a day, etc. etc.
Getting 8 meals worth of money from a B-class beast subjucation just doesn't make ANY sense, especially if it's a party to take it down.
And yeah I get that they can get more money from the body parts of the beast (possibly), but even then 8 meals worth of money makes no sense, since it's a B-class.
So either there's at least one zero too much somewhere, or one zero less somewhere than there should be to make things more sense.

Also it was implied that MC would've spared them if they didn't instantly turn on him like they did, since MC waited for them to act first,
because if he was gonna kill them eitherway, then why the act of even releasing them? So stupid either way.
And I hate this sh1t when the author doesn't have the balls to make the protagonist a cold-blooded executioner, but instead the villains are killed either by monsters or by the enviroment instead, so that MC gets to keep his hands clean of murdering other people.
I've seen this same sh1t in so many isekai stories already.
I just can't take this protagonist nor this author seriously anymore after this chapter.

MC is basically a psychopath at this point, if him deciding to save the life of his childhood-friend is an "illogical" decision, instead of playing it safe and basically just sacrificing her life to bait the boss. That's the reason I dislike this protagonist.
He always thinks in the moment, and doesn't see the long term benefits for helping people to survive.
Let's not forget that this same bitch MC was crying for help in that orc fight, even though he never helped other people in their fights before.

The irony here is, that if MC as an onlooker was watching some other dude having this fight, and that other poor guy was crying for help, MC would be the last person to help.
He would just not risk it and would just keep on walking, like we have seen him done several times before.
