She was overpowered, but that doesn't mean he was way beyond her.
Mc took damage when he caught that blade, and the MC's body is very sturdy

I think the difference is the complete change. Grifftrh from the very beginning was a pretty boy, while this MC looked good(just a good looking guy), then his looks and mannerisms underwent a drastic change.

I understand the dislike of the MC's looks, his mannerisms, and the way he dresses. Personally, I don't mind his looks, but the way he dresses and his mannerisms are not it.
