Why not use lover instead of partner? Using partner makes it sound like they are starting a business together. Any word similar to lover is better than using partner.

my words still stand. I get what you mean about Tianyu having more tension, but I think you’re looking at those arcs a bit differently than I am. Zhuo Fan was already playing chess with entire factions and strategists back then, even before he fully regained his strength. He definitely had tough moments, but the series was always building him up as someone who’d eventually outgrow a lot of these opponents. The green haired snake guy and the alchemist competition are good examples because those arcs weren’t just about raw strength. They showed Zhuo Fan adapting to different situations, using strategy, deception, and experience instead of just overpowering people. I don’t think the story abandoned that, it’s just that now he’s reached a level where a lot of the enemies he faces realistically can’t pressure him the same way anymore. And honestly, that progression makes sense. He started as a former Demon Emperor, so eventually, there had to be payoff for all the buildup. If he were still barely surviving against Beast Taming or Scheming Sect level enemies this late into the story, that would feel strange. I also don’t think every "villain" suddenly became dumb. A lot of these sect leaders and elites were always arrogant and overconfident. The difference now is that Zhuo Fan has enough power and experience to punish those mistakes much more easily.

I don't think we're reading the same thing. It's nowhere near trash. He was already almost on par with a stronger sect, stronger than the Beast Taming and Scheming Sects combined, before he powered up. Even before the power up, he was strong enough to wipe out both of those sects. The MC is just tying up loose ends while on a mission. The MC is rarely on the brink in most of his fights. Not every “villain” is dumb now. The people he's fighting now have always been this dumb.

With Asura translating, I'm going to assume he didn't actually say btch.

Why do people say this type of thing as a response? I know it's sarcasm and mocking, but I never understood why respond in such a way. It reads and sounds off.

So, all the characters are pixel age? I didn't know pixel was a number. Thank you for the info.

What are the ages of the characters? Did they mention it at some point?

I have a few problems with this translation. It's better than the last translator. One question is on my mind. When and why do they call the MC a refugee as a nickname/insult? I remember him being called something else in earlier chapters. There are quite a few other things I find odd, but I ignore. Well, it doesn't matter at the moment.

Hard working fathers usually feel worthless if they can't teach, help, or provide for their families. That devotion sometimes hurts them. Sometimes it gets to the point that they become self destructive.

Why deny what it is after receiving a full explanation of what it is?
