a lot of titles have a death flag title but the mc lives at the end anyway

its either he do it immediately or risk doing it after the series or arc
plus the pacing is not that bad if you follow other stories

first off all he just woke up from a coma (kind off dont know the other word for it)
so the question is not stupid its reasonable
second of all the fingers it think was just because the parent was mad
like why weren't you there or how could you let him become like that
so i think its just a kind of punishment

i guess the anime will do that
a lot of mangas don't have a coherent manner of piecing the story part
so the anime most of the time is the one fixing that
