I mean, im not mad im amused. If the intention was to make her dumb enough to make me mad then i'd give props to the author. Angelica from rugrats pisses me off to this day lol. This author genuinely wants us to go "she worked hard" and I saw no such arc, just plot armor saving her until MC came. Even if her arc was overcoming her fear to face a strong foe, then i'd give her (or the author) props there too, because that'd be a mental struggle that can take years to overcome despite being a first step. I could go on but tl;dr moment
