Alright, I have a habit of judging books by their covers so i feel bad for not giving this a try sooner. Nice shounen, plenty of action. Others are saying MC is unbearable and yeah he initially gives off a bad first impression lol. He's a loud delinquent with a heart of gold.

The power system is interesting, kinda similar to tokyo ghoul sure but i think it's pretty distinct. Basically they're borrowing the Momotarou fable, where he fights the oni's and all that. Reminds me more of "Villain to Kill" where both sides get powers and yet one group decides to massacre the perceived "evil" group because their powers have downsides. In this case, the oni's potential to go beserk and lose control- and yet that pales in comparison to the degenerates who don't have that issue and use their "momo" powers for far worse things.

Also, it definitely feels like this is an actual war going on compared to other stuff. Probably not to the same level as Tanya
