But Makima (The "control" horsewoman) betrayed the other horsewomen by attempting to use Awakened CSM and banish him to hell in order to kill them (hence Makima's reasoning for taking over Denji's control) because Devils that are killed by CSM in hell are erased from existence alongside the concept they are attached to. Makima wanted to do this to rid humanity of war, death and famine. This would also allow her to control humanity by boosting her control powers. So the other horsewomen have a grudge against Nayuta as well.

It's a 6/10. It's extremely slow and nothing much happens, even in romantic moments. But it is wholesome, and if you like Big women, particularly big, muscular women with abs (and big boobs), then give it a shot. It's really nothing special and the art is decent.
This is a very novel concept. A God vs Humans battle royale where EVERYONE is overpowered?! This is pure, unadulterated HYPE. It excels in a single aspect, but is extremely weak in literally anything else such as romance. Though, you get what you sign up for. Good backstories enhance the eventual action even more, and most often, you root for both sides at the same time. Great art and incredible fights!
It's a 6/10. I say that because if you go into this manga expecting a good romcom, you'll be sorely mistaken. This is a COSPLAY manga, with romantic elements. While I do enjoy the novelty of a Cosplay manga, as it is very detailed and teaches you a lot about the world of Cosplay, if you are not interested in cosplay, this is not a manga for you. The romance is very lacking, sure there are some pretty good romantic beats, but they are few and far between. Due to the nature of the cosplays, sometimes it's very hard to make out who is speaking at any moment in scenes where people wear the same costume. The highlight of this manga for me is actually the many conflicts surrounding Cosplaying and the characters, leading to a novel insight on the intricacies and misgivings of an very unexplored topic in media. If you like fashion, cosplay, and Gals, give this manga a shot. If you're only here for romance and don't much care for Cosplay, then do not read this.
This is a 8/10 Action comedy. It's simply Great. The art is spectacular at times, but it's just decent most of the times, which the internet may trick you into thinking this is the next Berserk. It isn't. There are peak panels and pages, but only usually once or twice per chapter, though this rate increases exponentially during fights, but for regular moments, it's just pretty good.
The scale of this manga is out of this world (literally), and provides a very unique experience only rivaled by Dragon Ball. The side characters get a lot of focus, and while the amount of characters is too big for each character to get adequate screentime, they are all still memorable and you know their powers most of the time, unlike something like My hero academia, where you'd need to look them up.
It has great comedy, interesting events and unique scenarios and premise. A must read, but only a lower-rated must read. Still a must read though!
This is an extremely low 6/10 ecchi romcom, barely avoiding 5/10. As a binge read, it must be unbearable, but as a one or two chapters per day experience, it's decent fun. Just don't expect any variety though, 99% of the manga takes place in a single room, with the same shtick every time, leading to an insanely repetitive experience, and, with the amount of chapters it has, has barely any actual plot progression. There's neer any character development, and the premise gets asinine real fast, particularly when reading weekly. The scanlation team is great though!
It's a low 8/10. This is the peak of wholesome romcom for middle-schoolers, providing a believable romance for such a tricky genre as they are too inexperienced due to being young yet old enough to realise it's love. Some manga with very young romance is too mature or too childish, but this hits everything perfectly and believably. The art is great, the romance is butterfly-inducing, and the story progression is natural.
Though just don't expect much scenery changes, the majority of the manga happens in a single classroom, leading to a repetitive binge reading experience, but a solid one or two chapter per day experience.
It's a low to mid 7/10. The manga provides Novel entertainment with a very strait-laced protagonist and JK romance, and the shenanigans their classmates and family get up to. There's rap battles, fatherly woes, and decent romance. Decent art. But nothing special.
The manga is the most 6/10 Ecchi RomCom out there. It has Novelty with how weird it is, there is a lot of focus on the male privates as jokes. But there are some decent romance moments, but buried under a mountain of dick jokes. So if crude humour is your thing, give it a shot, but don't expect anything more than that. Also, the primary romance is between a Adult and a Minor relationship, so if that disgusts you, turn away now.
Though the Adult is waiting until she's legal to do erotic things, but there is restrained romance before that as well as the aforementioned dirty jokes.
Any writer worth their salt would have the Ninja wear proper uniforms at all times considering the possibility of Battle at any moment, especially with the circumstances they find themselves in, with The last hokage and his wife killed for all they know, some kids saying the village's memory has been rewritten causing them anxiety and unease each time they are reminded, the possibility of the man who "killed" the Hokage returning to the village to wreak havoc, and a hero of the last war, Sasuke, being branded a traitor, someone who had equal power to Naruto, possibly attacking the village as well, ON TOP of the 24/7 threat of the Terrorist groups, political and social dissent and distrust, and the very real possibility of Gods coming to wreak havoc as well, as they have multiple times. Heck, all this leaves Konoha open to another nation attacking them too if a corrupt leader takes advantage of the trust between nations heralded by the previous generation's effort.
They, are, not, at, peace. Full stop.
About the "cool" thing, It really does come off as the writer attempting to make the audience think Boruto is cool, it's a manipulation tactic used a lot, particularly in bad stories. Rather than having the reader naturally feel a certain way about a character, the writer is telling us how we should feel, by talking through a character to us directly. Which is bad writing. Besides, the Boruto monologue was cringe and also badly written, because again, it tells us that he thinks Boruto is his sun, rather than having the reader make that correlation ourselves, even though it's an extremely dumb and unearned statement. To top that all off, the cool line is said by one of the most glum characters in the manga, which makes the statement even more unrealistic and forced. Besides, the manga takes itself SO, SO, SO seriously that this line is just yet another cringe factor.
I don't want to fucking hate on Boruto, but it's so bad that I just can't stop because it ruined one of my favorite mangas of all time, Naruto.
If they weren't, WHY would they need constant, 24 hour surveillance by chakra sensor squads covering the ENTIRETY of the leaf village, both energy sensors as well as telepathic? Surely if they were in peace times, they wouldn't need such strict security protocols. The world was at peace before the start of this manga, they trusted the other villages and didn't need to fear war. The security would've been lax. BUT IT ISN'T NOW. Because they are literally at war with terrorists and literal gods and they have been for years. The enemy is the biggest threat they've ever faced, the last Hokage (the strongest fighter they had) was killed for all they know on top of Kurama dying. There is the possibility of constant attack, and the entire village is on guard 24/7. And your telling me they can just lounge in their hot tubs without a care in the world??
Did you even read the manga? The village is literally only just over a decade removed from what was a culture of constant war and child soldiers who were expected to die for their country with corrupt leaders and literal fights against Gods that threatened all of existence. A culture like that is NOT so easily deleted from the subconscious of the survivors, and we see that with how Ninja are still being trained even in peace time like we saw in the start of the manga (albeit not as violently thanks to reforms, kids literally died in the Ninja exams and that shit was normalised, remember?).
The previous generation know more than anyone else that an Threat can pop up at any time, and so they train the next generation to prepare for that eventuality. Because Naruto and Sasuke won't be around forever. Oh look, One is dead and the other is branded as a traitor, for over 2 years at this point, better NOT train the next generation and keep our security lax!
Seriously dude?
Also, I died at the "They're bombs?!" part. That shit was hilarious.
If they end up fighting, it will be interesting to see how Saitama handles it. Then again, he's so fast that he could just pin EV down or knock him out or something...
