Huh... I just remembered in the Rise of the shield hero there are alternative weapon and tool in different universes. There might as well be a Lantern hero. Abilities are going to be mostly cc or some big finisher move that collects souls and then shoots an energy beam or flame thrower. 🤔 damn I like that idea better and better. Ohh and some minor necromancy.

To be fair there aren't any mc/heroes with lanterns as a weapon as of yet. And if anyone asks how to turn a lantern to a weapon (in dnd): focus the light to a stream, cast 3 times control flames on the fire in the lantern. Doubling the brightness each time, turning it into a laser. When your party has more than one who can use that cantrip, it becomes interesting with the doubling. Tell me if you killed a tarasque with a bunch of wizard students with it.
