Probably helps that he spent his early childhood as essentially a poor commoner, the lack of an arrogant disposition makes him more approachable/empathetic to others.

Probably because Gaston is not a character in the original 1740 fairy tale. Gaston was developed specifically for Disney's adaptation of Beauty and the Beast because the studio felt that the film could benefit from a strong villain, which was lacking in the original story.

I like this manga but I feel like the author is trying to do to much with this story. Ever since around chapter 51 it has felt like we have two different manga happening at the same time, was it really necessary to have the doomsday terrorist cult be apart of the story. I might feel differently if the main characters were involved in that storyline to a greater degree, but they are not.

I like how everyone looks a little older than before, it has been a gradual change. Honestly sometimes manga time skips can be a bit jarring with how they can change the characters appearances drastically. The way this series handles it feels more natural to me.

No he is not the source of Meruem's personality, he just became a Chimera and is out there in the world, many believe he will be a future antagonist in the series, though with Togashi's poor health who knows if that will ever happen.

This chapter had some great world building, Yazur's backstory reminds me a little of Gyro from Hunter x Hunter. I like that despite being clearly mentally disturbed from his horrible childhood, Yazur seems to be a calm collected individual with a good head on his shoulders. He listens to Alda's story and logically works out that he is telling the truth despite it potentially being a contradiction to the religion he has created.

They mentioned the Sejm, so yeah this country is Polish, neat.

I sincerely hope Keon dies an extremely painful death, no redemption, just agonizing death befitting human garbage such as himself.

So I got to wonder if that past reincarnator killed all the male elves, even if the are immortal or have a long life span, how on earth have they not gone extinct yet? We have been shown that there have been many wars in the past which would have killed some of their population. Do they have an alternate means of reproduction? Also I find it hard to believe that the majority of elves both light and dark just went along with exterminating the males, I mean they all would have had male family members.

Also I like the detail that their planet had 13 moons at one point, most fantasy stories if they even had more than one moon would only have like 2 many 3 moons. So does that mean they have 12 moons.

Leon is somehow even crazier than we thought, that shouldn't even be possible.

It's bad because it makes the author/artist look like they did not care about the world building of the series. Today there are online resources that will generate fictional world maps for you, so there really is no excuse to simply copy our own world map.

Wait if Jumper's ability is to accelerate his body in way that it essentially negates the cool down on his teleportation skill, shouldn't he be aging at an accelerated rate as well? I know he is also time looping as well but shouldn't he be noticeably ageing from using his ability?

Given its location that Island would make for a good stopping point for trade between the two continents, if Zenjirou is smart he will tell Aura to consider colonizing the Island once they start building their own fleet, why let the Northerners reap the benefits that such a rest stop could entail. Also the new nation seems to be Polish based, neat, eastern Europe often isn't used for inspiration in fantasy stories like this.

Nice to see that the Emperor is not delusional about the Empire's status, it is clearly still very powerful as has already been demonstrated, but the fact that the Empire used to span the entire continent when now they don't even control the entire northern part of said continent is clear evidence of decay. In fact it is laughable that they still call themselves an Empire, they are just a kingdom pretending to be an Empire.

I do like the fact that both Frieren and Serie seem to like cake a lot, at least they have that in common at least.

Really hope next chapter begins with them telling her to piss off. That won't happen but it doesn't hurt to dream right.
