It’s a little bit frustrating but I think it is wise of marcia to keep silent and let lalisa reveal her secret herself to fabian. A lot of things would be smoother if she told fabian then and there but you will feel bad if your secret is being shared to other without your knowledge

Yeah this the kind of bullshit scenario that an MC would always do: broke and weak as fuck but shameless enough to promise lofty things. Very satisfied to see a realistic refusal at last.
Character in other story would just accept such promise, and saying ridiculous things like “I see something in you” or something like that

The mc this time is already fucked up simce the beginning… all that is left for changge to do is to let him dig a deeper grave and then timely frame him as a nasty demonic cultivator

Every time someone makes a comment about the mc I keep thinking they are referring to changge, then realize that changge is in fact the villain and the mcs are his prey

I think the artist considered that both of the things that you dislike would be too much to be adapted to the manhwa too, making it longer than it’s supposed to be. You know, often times manhwa or manga artist has to skip the parts from the novel which they think are less necessary in order to make the manhwa more engaging and progress more smoothly

It’s disappointing that even though the art and the concept is very promising, the mc just ruins the appeal of the story. Beside the annoyingly moron mc who’s severely lacking in character development, you also gotta bear with the confusing worldbuilding. Honestly sad to drop this because I really like those cute ants.
